Best airfare from Priceline?

Can anyone tell me the best price they got from Priceline on airfare? Is it worth it? And do they usually accept the price you want to pay? I live in Louisville Kentucky if that helps to determine a distance to price. Thank You.

My experience has been that the Orlando routes are usually pretty inexpensive as airfare goes when purchased through conventional channels. I think in general, Priceline is great for last minute air travel, when fares are at their highest.

Also, with Priceline (or Hotwire) you cannot choose your flight times. So just be aware that you lose two days off the front and back of your trip because of this factor.

Remember, too that with Priceline, you may have to accept a connection en route.
