Best ages for BBB?

I have never done the BBB w/ my girls. When we go next year my girls will be 12 and 9, my ODD already has said she doesn't want to go to BBB but she'll do the pirate one w/ her brothers. My youngest DD (who just turned 8) says she wants to do the BBB. Will she like it at age 9 or is it focused more for the little girls? I'm wondering if she'll enjoy dressing like a pirate more or maybe getting something done at the barber shop in MK, we are going there for DS's 1st hair cut? I'm not saying I don't want to take her BBB, I just want to make sure she'll enjoy at her age. I'm all for keeping my kids little as long as I canI was so happy when she told me she still wanted to dress like a princess!

There are plenty of older girls who want to go, too. My dd11 wants to go and I've been calling everyday trying to get her an appt. for June.

I've seen lots of older (9-12) year olds there. They also have the "pop star" hairstyle which seems to be popular as they get a little older. I think they also added a package where they get a t-shirt and tutu instead of princess dress if she decides to go that route.

We brought our own dress last time and plan to bring our own this time as well.

My daughter is 5 and currently has a countdown going for her visit to the BBB next month! She is beyond excited! I ordered her a dress on Amazon for far less $ than I would pay at Disney. We've been to the BBB two other times and each time there were older girls having a great time. There is a mermaid package at The Pirates League that might be worth looking into as well.

My DD did BBB when she was 4 and 5 yo.
We just cruised on the Fantasy and now at 8yo she had no interest.

My dd started at age 3and was over it by age 8. If she wants to do it let her!

My daughter did it when she was 8. After that she no longer was interested. There are girls of all ages that go.

While it was mainly the 3-7 age set when we last went, I know a number for people with older kids who LOVE BBB. Most of which are also very sad that they've now put an age limit on the experience.
