Best "adult" beverages

After reading all of these posts of the different drinks to try, my head is spinning. I can only imagine what tomorrow morning could bring.

DW & I favor the drinks that come with a specific venue: Long Islands in the side garden at Rose & Crown Pub; Long Islands from the Trout Pass Bar and sitting by the pool; Long Islands at the pool bar at the Grandstand (Ahh, maybe the venue isn't as important as I thought, anyway); Long Islands at the room in the afternoon; Long Islands at . . . .

Another vote here for the Grand Marnier Slush and the Grey Goose Vodka Slush in France. Hubby and I each get one and share. Can't really decide which one's better! YUUUUUUMMMMMMMM...:cloud9:

And yes, I, too originally tried them thanks to Samantha Brown! :goodvibes

Is the pina colava super sweet? Sometimes those frozen drinks are just sickeningly sweet.

I had a Godiva White Chocolate Martini at Brown Derby and DH had a chocloate one. It was our first martinis and they were wonderful.

My vote would be the Habanero Lime MArgarita, available at pretty much every resort bar I think. It sounds weird, but if you like margaritas, and not overly sweet ones, you will like this one I think.

Another vote for the Grand Marnier Orange Slush!

We also love the Dawa Bar in AK. A lot of the time we just get pina coladas. I *love* the Lost on the Safari drink.

Where do you get the Pina Colava? I would like to try this in January.

Most of the pool bars I have frequented have this concoction on the menu. AND, it is good. :goodvibes

Ask for an extra shot of rum as a floater...........

My new favorite is the Sunken Treasure at Narcoosee's. They also made it for me at the Grand Floridian Cafe. DBF loves the Grey Goose Slushies in France and the Antioxidant Cocktail. I also like Lapu Lapus, the Magical Star Cocktail. I believe that at the Polynesian you can also get them to make a Konk Kooler which is a great favorite from Castaway Cay.

A little bit, yes. My husband is a "sweet drink" fan and he didn't even want me to share with him!

We had a ton of drinks while there .. let me go grab pics and I'll post reviews.

I'd say the Grey Goose slushy from France or a Raspberry Mojito from Tambu Lounge (with fresh raspberries!)

And DF would say the Lapu Lapu, Peach Oolong tea slushie, or a Sunken Treasure.

Day 1, 1900 Park Fare I had the Eco-tini. I LOVED this drink. (And the free souvenier bracelet that came with it!) Probably one of my favorite drinks during the trip.

Day two, Epcot. First we got both a Grand Marnier Orange Slush (for me) and a Grey Goose Lemonade for my husband. I ended up making him trade because I liked the Grey Goose better.

Sammy Octoberfest. I always like these, I just wanted the glass. :)

Happy Lychee from the China kiosk. I didn't like this at all. I remember it having a weird flavor to it, like apple or pear.

Then I got a Stavanger at Akershus. I liked it :thumbsup2 (Don't mind this horrible pic of me .. I'm ashamed to even post it, but I'm doing it for the good of drinkers all over the "World" :lmao: )

Wednesday, MK .. no drinkies there.

Thursday, got a Mai Tai at the pool bar. Very good. I got a second. Later we went to Chef Mickey's. Got the Magical Star cocktail, which was good. No pics of it, I don't think ... nope, just checked. Only my empty glass!

Friday, Yak & Yeti's. Got the Yak Attack and didn't like it at all. Made my husband give me his beer and gave it to him. :lovestruc

Saturday, Grand Floridian tea room. A champagne cocktail. It was just OK. Kinda wished I got regular champagne, which I know I like.

And then later at the luau, I got a pina colada. I was yum-o.

After the luau, we both got Kona beers while watching Wishes from the Poly Beach. Fire Rock and Longboard. Both were good.

Sunday, Planet Hollywood. Got a Blazing Saddles. Disgusting. Worst drink, not only during the entire vacation, but that I've ever had. It was like Tang. Couldn't taste any alcohol (and didn't get the feeling at all later on that there had been any in it .. I can usually feel it after a drink that big)

Later at the ESPN Zone had a Blue Moon. Always like those, though. Then at the pool bar. Pina Colava. Too sweet for me, was wishing I had the Mai Tai again. But I wouldn't have turned down a free second one :lmao: (I WOULD have turned down a free second Blazing Saddles, if that tells you anything!)

Good luck choosing, everyone!

I gotta say, the BLOODY MARY I had at THE WAVE, at the Contemporary, was THE best I've ever had!!

Green Tea Plum Wine Cooler at the Joy of Tea Stand (China Pavilion, EPCOT Center). I never seem to get a picture of it while it is still full. YUM!

I don't have a pic but they have milkshakes with alcohol in them at Sci-Fi. Can't go wrong there!
