I do so love a fun adult beverage!! :rolleyes1 On my upcoming CHILDLESS trip, what are some "must have" adult beverages at the various parks, resorts, restaurants? I am looking for both specials that are particular to a specific location, or particularly good renditions of a common favorite...:drinking1

AK-Banana Daiquiri at Dawa bar
Poly- Lapu Lapu
Territory Lounge at WL- Choc Mudslide Martini
Outer Rim CR - Iced Chai Tea (best drink from last trip) or Creamsicle
Epcot- France smoothies either flavor is a must

:bride: Mrs. Disney Ron

Drinks are nice but Epcot has some great beers...try the various Uni Brous in Canada. :drinking1

Hi Disneyholic! We are going CHILDFREE, too! Just a few short weeks away. I am kind of boring, cuz I stick to my favorites...either chardonnay, dirty martinis or vodka (or capt morgan) with club soda and lime. I am sure you will have a great time whatever you drink!

Cheers!

Yeah, it is hard to go wrong anytime I have the chance to have a fun beverage in The World!! :woohoo: I am looking forward to visits to the Tune-In Lounge and the Dawa Bar at a minimum... :thumbsup2

Me too! :thumbsup2

We like to get Dad's Electric Lemonade at the Tune Inn lounge at MGM(attached to Prime Time Cafe). You can get them to go.

I also recently tried a Bellini at the stand in Italy in Epcot which was very good. And of course, the Fiesta Margaritas in Mexico are great too.

Enjoy!

How about just trying something "around the world" in Epcot's World Showcase! That's what we do, not all at once of course.;) Great Beer in the UK & Germany. Wine, Champagne Kir or the frozen drinks in France, Margarita's in Mexico, Bellini in Italy, you can't go wrong!

We've had really good high quality Margaritas on the rocks at the Dawa Bar in AK.

Hurricane Hannah's at the Beach Club has a lot of different kinds of frozen drinks.

Have Fun!

I had a blast doing the drink around the world with my MOM in 1999. We stopped at each pavilion, she'd get a glass of wine and I'd get a beer. We were moving mighty slow by the time we even reached Germany! Good times!

I, too, have enjoyed an adult beverage in each of the World Showcase Pavilions. My husband even made us lanyards (he copied much of the text from the internet somewhere) to wear. In each country we had the server sign their name (it looks really neat, especially with the Japanese and Chinese characters).

They actually looked quite official - if I have time, I'll scan them and post the pictures. We had several people ask if we were on an official tour, or where we bought the lanyards. The front said something to the effect, "We are drinking a beer in each country. If you find us looking disoriented, please direct us towards the International Gateway so that we can stumble home to the Beach Club." :lmao:

PLEASE! You gotta post a picture. What a great idea, I love it and might steal that idea from ya. Very cool.:thumbsup2

Well, I don't remember the names........but I had a fantastic oreo milkshake with chocolate liqueur at Sci-Fi. I also had some wonderful lemon-y mixture at the pool bar at the Swan.

Dad's Electric Lemonade is really good and I can't recommend enough a French Martini at the California Grill...just don't have more than 2 of those or you too might fall asleep in your clothes ;)

Oh please...do tell...what is in a french martini??? I don't know why, but it just sounds GOOD!

I believe the one (4) they made me had vodka, chambord, pineapple juice and champagne. VERY tasty! Thankfully I only had to take the elevator home ;)

I like the Margaritas at the Mexico pavilion, and the Blue Spoodle at Spoodles is awesome- kind of a pina colada-ish, tropical frozen drink. I also had a really good Hurricane-type drink at 'Ohana, but I can't remember what it was called. It was red and tasted like heaven!!

ohhh, that sounds good. But you have a typo in your post. You have the number "4." No one drinks 4 martinis, do they?:rotfl:

Oh yeah, that's right...*I* do!:guilty:

You speak the truth :thumbsup2 At Le Cellier, Fin Du Monde is my pre-appetizer, and Maudite is my post-dessert. They need to start offering the Unis outside of the restaurant though

My favourite drink in Epcot is the Viking Coffee in Norway. In AK, it's the Safari Amber beer. Never really thought about MGM, and, of course, MK is dry. I'll have to look into MGM in August.
