We are going to stay at Universal for 7 nights..we have 6 kids..12,12,11,9,5,5. We have thought about 2 rooms at RPR and priced 2 deluxe at Portofino which was like 1400 more, but may give us more room...and the suites are really pricey, but if they are worth it, we may go for the hospitality suite...just not sure which would be best. I just think 2 rooms at RPR for that many people, may be pushing it!

The deluxe rooms at PBH have huge bathrooms but not a great amount more living space compared to the garden or bayview. The hospitality suite is huge but I like the villa suite layout better. Did you price that one? You can get a deluxe King and a deluxe double queen to connect to that suite.

If you go with 2 standard queen rooms at RPR you would fit easily enough so long as everybody shares a bed but would lack any real living space. Personally, I would save the $ and go for the 2 rooms at RPR - 4 people to a room is fine. They have a Hospitality suite at RPR too did you check on that?

What hotel has the villa suites? Are those usually more than the Hospitality Suites at RPR? No-I didn't see those..I just didn't want the older kids to kill each other sharing 2 standards..or me go crazy! lol

I hear you on the kids killing themselves! :rotfl2:

Portofino has Villa suites and they are priced less than the hospitality suite. They also have a Portofino suite that is even less.

We've done connecting at HRH with 7. Rooms there are larger than RPH. Much closer to parks than PBH. Kids love the hotel and pool.
