Hi Everyone .
I’m on my phone and I’ll finding it hard to search , so asking the experts .
Can anyone recommend the best fully wheelchair accessible hotel please ?

thanks for your time .

Most (all?) of the hotels on Harbor or close to the parks which are used regularly by DISers should be fully accessible and ADA compliant. Did you have a specific hotel in mind or did you just want the closest off site property? Have you tried calling the BWPPPI? That one is right at the crosswalk across from the Harbor entrance. They should have accessible rooms. "Best" is subjective -- what do you want in a hotel other than wheelchair accessibility? (Newest? Suites? Free breakfast? Free parking? Private Shuttle? Etc.) Let us know and we can suggest hotels specifically.

Thank You everyone .
I’m more interested in the bed being on legs , not a platform . We will be using a hoist and need it to go under the bed . Room to move a large PWC round the room and a roll in shower as we will be using a shower chair . The age of the hotel is not really a concern but close to the main gate is preferable.

Ask about this on the disABILITIES! forum, too -- you'll get some very specific help there from people with lots of experience in this area. Also, there is a regular poster there who visited DLR earlier this year -- @RaySharpton: do you have any hotel recommendations to throw into the ring here? Thanks for your help!

So just wanted to follow up with those who gave information. Firstly I thank you. We have been to Disneyland many times before , but never as a full time wheelchair user, so navigating the hotel situation was a bit tricky. last accessible room we had was anything BUT .

Anyway, I bit the bullet and we are staying at the Disneyland hotel... first time for us.. so very excited to be staying onsite. and the lady I spoke to on the phone when booking was amazing.. she even put me on hold to call some to ask they would accommodate a hoist under the bed. she came back online and said. its done.. they will send someone up the day we check in to adapt the bed so we can get the hoist under. Anyway rambled enough, just wanted to say thank you for your help . Have a great day ..

You'll LOVE DLH! I hope you have a great trip.

Please report back on how things go with the wheelchair and how the room meets those needs -- the information can help other DISers!
Have a wonderful trip!
