Hi Gang

We may be going down to WDW May 29th to June 9th. Does anyone know the best/any CAA deal for that time?

We went in June 2003 and had an awesome time. We stayed at the Swan for 11 nights and got a special CAA rate of 50% off rack rate. We ended up paying $179 per night for club level. Just wondering if anyone knows about discounts going at this time again.

Thanks
Andy

I think the AAA rates are available for 2005 right now, but we are waiting for room only discount rates to come out for June (and they aren't out yet). You could join our thread for the May/June Room Discount watch:

Someone calls almost everyday from this group to check, but so far nothing. I am sure once something comes out it will be posted there.

I called this weekend and was quoted a rate of $169.50 for standard view rooms at the Swan and Dolphin for the week of May 29 to June 5. That does not include the mandatory $10 per night resort fee. With tax, I think it brought the total to almost $200 per night for each room. Not a bad deal, considering that the regular rates for a standard view room are about $350 per night.

Did you like the S&D when you stayed there?

Hi Linda

Thanks for the info. Yes we REALLY liked the Swan. Given the price we got 2 years ago you just couldn't beat it. I remember being worried that we'd miss out by not staying at a Disney owned hotel. I was really wrong. We found it to be really spectacular. The hotel is really nice. The rooms are nice and large and the beds are great. The location of the hotel is fantastic. You're right beside the boardwalk and Epcot and you can either see the nightly fireworks from your room or from many places around the hotel. One place we never thought of that someone mentioned was between the Swan and Dolphin sitting on the beach relaxing. :)

Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I made my ressie on Friday thru Disney and used my AAA discount for PC and got the room for $84.00 a nite as opposed to $99.00. It is for room only. So the down side with this discount is you can not get the dining package or anything else. I'll buy my tickets seperate as well and still save the same amount.
