Best 2 Bedroom?

I am a new DVC member and have only stayed in a Studio at OKW. Loved it! I am planning a trip druing Presidents week in Feb. 07. I will be traveling with my wife, 11 year old daughter and the inlaws. What resort do you think has the best 2 bedroom? Any chance of getting a 2 Bedroom at BWV 7 months out?

We are sort of prejudiced towards OKW. However, it is a fact that out of all the DVC's the rooms at OKW are the most spacious. We love the 2 bedrooms there. I think that all of the rooms at the DVC's are great. We did just get to see a 2 bedroom at Boardwalk Villas and it was beautiful, but was not as roomy as the 2 bedroom at OKW.

okw is definitely the biggest and I do love it.

but I like the desk at the BCV.... SSR has it too...

I definitely enjoy the extra room in the livingroom - not to mention the love seat.

I agree for a group that OKW has the roomiest 2 bedrooms (or any other room actually). I would say your odds for BWV at 7 months are not good as President's Week gets pretty full.

IMO OKW has the best 2 bedroom hands-down.

Keep in mind a BWV 2 bedroom will have a queen bed and a double sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom, not 2 queens.

OKW has the biggest 2 bedroom, and the balcony is huge. As far as decor goes, I'd have to give that award to SSR. I have to warn you after staying at OKW staying at another DVC takes some adjusting to, I walked in and thought who shunk the villa? The master bedroom is about the same size, but the second bedroom and living room have lost quite a bit of square footage.

I have only stayed in a 2 bedroom at OKW and at BWV's...well.. so far-

OKW- WOW! talk about ROOMY!
BWV- WOW! loved watching Illuminations from our balcony

Old Key West has the largest two bedrooms available. I would book there just based on the size.

Absolutely, OKW. The 2 bedroom units there are not to be beat by any of the other DVC resorts, both in size and balcony. I love the views there as well, but then, I'm not a city person. The big balcony is the main draw for me. I like that even when we have a guest in the living room, I can still have a table and chairs to have my morning coffee at without disturbing them.

We have only stayed at OKW and SSR. The rooms are definately bigger at OKW. And the points are the cheapest too. SSR is our home resort and we love that place too. But as far as room OKW gets my vote!!!

I'll agree with the previous posters - OKW has the best two bedrooms. We've had a two bedroom villa for the past two Januaries for the marathon. Two years ago we had BIL/SIL/+three younger kids. With the three of us, the OKW two bedroom was fantastic.

This past January, we invited friends and there were four of them. Again, the OKW 2 bedroom was excellent. We asked for a lockoff and they were able to come and go through the door in their villa instead of the door in our villa. We all shared the living room and had a wonderful time.

We stayed in an OKW two bedroom on our first DVC trip with my husband's parents. They had the second bedroom and thought it was great.

Several resorts have a 2nd bedroom with two queens.

My vote on the main question is for OKW.

There are a select few dedicated 2 bedrooms at the other DVC resorts ----just not sure exactly how many. This room can be a request, but is not guaranteed.

To the OP, yes, but depends on the time of year. If you're looking for Oct/Nov/Dec, I'd say chances are much slimmer. But I've had no trouble booking rooms at BWV during the summer and various other times at even 2-3 months out. I booked our 2 bedroom OKW for this August and called only in early May----BWV was available when I called (so was VWL).

If you get a "dedicated" 2 Bedroom, meaning, no lock off, there are 2 Queen beds in the 2nd' bedroom. Otherwise, it is a pull out couch and a queen bed.
I know the Boardwalk does NOT have a dedicated villas.. I believe that the only one.
