Best 1BR, 2BR, and GV Locations at AKV

I'm taking an extended family of 9 to AKV in 2018, and while leaning towards a GV (our family travels together all of the time, and get along great), I would like to know what you feel are the best locations and/or room #s for the various villa types, and why (buses, restaurants, pool, lobby, etc). I have a lpoint renter lined up already, so that won't be an issue.

I would go for a GF at Jambo, sunset savanna.

I agree on a savanna view at either Kidani Village or Jambo House. The Kidani Village GV is two stories and the Jambo House is one story. The KV GV has a loft area with a pull out couch that adds more flexibility for sleeping arrangements compared to JH GV's.

The advance of Sunset Savanna is that you can see giraffes and zebras at either location.

If you should decide on 2BRs Kidani Village 2BRs have a 3rd bathroom off of the living room. So guests sleeping in the living room have their own bathroom. Also with 2BRs at Kidani Village you can request a lower floor so you can have better views of the animals. Sometimes in rooms on high floors tahe tree tops block the views of the animals that are under the trees in the shade.

Pools - the pool at Jambo House is huge. The pool at Kidani Village has a wonder water play area for the kids and many have commented that they like the pool slide at Kidani Village over Jambo House.

Jambo House has a quick service restaurant, KV does not.
My favorite restaurant at AKV is at Kidani Village, Sanaa.

It is a 10 minute walk between the two resorts and they do have a shuttle van running between the two, but it does fill up quickly in the evenings.
