I need one more good table service meal that is not a character meal.

We already have

LeCellier
50's Prime time
Liberty Tree
Boma
OHana

Outside of what we already have what is the best 1 credit meal with the best food/atmosphere....it doesn't matter where, in the parks or a resort...
Thanks!

I know it gets a lot of mixed reviews, but we personally love it and go every visit. It is a great time and visiting the Polynesian is an experience in itself. That would be my recommendation.

We love Coral Reef (great atmosphere w/aquarium view & good food) or Ohana (good food & enjoyable/relaxed polynesian atmosphere).

I would also suggest Ohana. Otherwise I would say Biergarten is a good/overlooked place. 50s PT Cafe was a blast, too.

We are doing Ohana, sorry I forgot to mention it because it is a character meal. I was looking for something for Mothers Day...something like LeCellier (we are already doing that one though) thanks!

For breakfast only its a character meal I thought? Sorry, you didn't specify if you were looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner? We also ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe and it was good. I don't know if I'd recommend it for Mother's Day. It was kinda rowdy!

What about Boma? That may be a good one!

Coral Reef and Wolfgang Puck Cafe are good choices

Some suggestions...

Les Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Tutto Italia
Kona Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe

Yes, Ohana brkfst is a character meal, but the dinner is not. We love both Ohana brkfst & dinner and do both on our trips, but if you would rather not eat at the same restaurant twice then that's understandable as well.

Yes, we ate at Ohanas for breakfast last visit and am booked for Ohana's for dinner this trip....thanks for the clarification

Sorry I didn't clarify...we are looking for dinner (non buffet) we have a ton of buffets already that week and just wanted a sit down dinner...thanks!

Les Chefs de France
Coral Reef
Tutto Italia
Kona Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe

I like these suggestions....we already have been to Kona Cafe and would like to try something new....which is the best of Les Chefs de France, Tutto Italia and Grand Floridian Cafe....which would be a better choice for a Mothers Day dinner?

I would suggest Chefs de France or Tutto. I don't think you can go wrong with either, just depends which menu appeals more to you. I think they're both fantastic restaurants.

Hard to rank these because they are all so different. I ranked in order of my favorite overall considering food quality, service, and atmosphere. I did not include character meals (they are my favorites).

#1 Yak and Yeti (AK) - partly #1 for their Safari Amber draft beer, one of the few places with draft beer other than Budweiser. Great food, very big portions. Interesting things to look at here. In Asia at Animal Kingdom. Reasonably priced.... Did I mention I really enjoyed the draft beer?

#2 Restaurant Marrakesh (Epcot) - great lunch spot with belly dancing and Moroccan music. Food was different but some choices not spiced so differently if you have picky eaters. Great service, loved the whole design of the restaurant and some neat gift shops. At night, in Morocco, there's a great band (Moroccan Fusion?) also with belly dancing.

#2 Tusker House (AK) - Just a wonderful buffet with lots of different dishes, many with a Africian-Indian flavor, but many "just normal" dishes. Very delicious, not your typical buffet. Bread pudding dessert is out of this world delicious. Convenient location, right in Africa in Animal Kingdom.

#3 Ohana - Dinner Only(Polynesian) - rated high partly because it's at the Polynesian, so stroll on the grounds or along the beach after dinner with a tropical drink from Ohana's bar. Food is great if you're not vegetarian -- mostly skewered meats (pork, turkey, steak, shrimp) all delicious.

#4 Liberty Tree Tavern (MK) - great lunch spot... but will have characters in Jan. while Crystal Palace is closed. Convenient location by the Hall of Presidents in the center of Magic Kingdom. Standard American fare like pot roast and roasted turkey with stuffing -- both just like Mom used to cook it. The desserts are extremely delicious, especially the fruit crisp and shortbread desserts.

#5 Tutto Italia (Epcot) - Probably one of the fanciest restaurants for 1 credit. Top notch service, great wines, delicious food. Can't be beat for food quality. Only downside is there's really no entertainment, at least when we were there. Add some live Italian music and this place would be #1.

I'd really check out Grand Floridian Cafe....great food...don't have to go into a park if you don't want to that day....but on the monorail if you are in a park. Definately worth considering.
