Besides HOJO...

I just booked at the Anaheim Plaza for a trip in a couple weeks. It has good reviews overall, a huge pool, and is one of the cheapest within walking distance. It was $60-something a night. It does not have breakfast, but the cont. breakfasts we've had lately at the Harbor hotels have not been very good and were sparse anyhow.

Anyone that's stayed there, how long is the walk? It's hard to tell on the hotels map I found and I've only ever stayed at the Harbor hotels on the other side of the crosswalk--Tropicana, Carousel, and Camelot. Is it a similar walk as to Camelot, just the other direction?

The walk is not bad at all. It's very inexpensive and the pool is H U G E ! (isnt' that Paris Hilton's new favorite phrase? :rolleyes1 )

The Fairfield Inn is across the street. It's a Marriott property so it has the soft beds with lots of pillows. They offer Pizza Hut on site with Millies, and Mimis in the parking lot. They have some awesome rooms looking over Tommorowland. When I checked in they were going to give me another room and when I asked to overlook property they acted as if this was a downgrade:scared1: I would say those rooms are a little noisy with freeway traffic. I got the room on Expedia for $75. Marriott does guarantee lowest rate on their website. I have also stayed at all the Mariott properties within a few blocks and they are nice but Fairfield offers free parking.
