We love BOG, but besides that, what is your opinion on the best TS restaurant in MK? Will be myself, DH, and DD9 and DD16. On Dining plan so cost not really an issue. Thanks!!!!!

If you like Pooh and friends, Crystal Palace is decent food. We have eaten dinner there several times and enjoyed it.

Inside MK, CRT. On monorail (what I would suggest) Cali Grill has some excellent dishes. We like going at opening, before they get slammed. The Wave also has good food.

My husband asks for Liberty Tree too, although we like lunch there best.

We like the classic Colonial look and feel of it. It reminds us of our home, and a lot of the New England homes, in upstate NY. LTT is also near our favorite ride (HM). And of course the food is great! I always get the Pilgrim's feast (turkey, stuffing, potatoes) and DH loves the pot roast. I'm still smarting from the loss of the caramel apple tart, though, and the fried cheese curd appetizer.

I think LTT is a neat experience to feel like you are transported back to othe colonial times. The inside feels very authentic, we did it on Tday, so of course it was perfectly themed for that. We did lunchtime on the holiday in case it got crowded in the park later and we wanted to leave, but did not get to try the Ooey gooey toffee cake, since it was a set meal of the Pilgrims Feast (or Patriots Platter- can't remember) and a pumpkin cake. Dinner seems to just have The Patriots Platter and Tart for dessert, so if you want a choice of entrees and desserts, you might want a late lunch instead. You can check out the menu and pics on the Disney site. We will do lunch the next time we go there to have the dessert(priorities!) We also like CP, but for brft, and CRT is always nice, but we have not done dinner there, so can't give an opinion, but of course it is 2 credits. If you wanted to hop on the monorail, 1900PF is a fun experience if you've never done it before, with Cinderella and the stepsisters.

There are really no TS restaurants that I really find really good in the MK. I love the decor and theming of BOG, but really don't care for the food. I enjoy CP for breakfast but like most buffets I could care less for them at lunch/dinner. The only one we really find ourselves going back to is LTT, and with that we like lunch better than dinner. I agree with a previous post and would also recommend going to one of the monorail resorts and trying Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe, Ohana or the Wave. Another would be to take the nice boat ride over to the WL and try Whispering Canyon Cafe. All of these restaurants in my opinion are much better than what is in the MK.

If your heart is set on eating in MK for dinner I would say Crystal Palace. Standard buffet food, nothing bad at all, but nothing that will blow your socks off either. The characters are always good there.

If you're willing to leave the park there are the monorail choices everyone has mentioned. I would take the time to look at the various menus to help you decide.

Thanks everyone :)Lots of good choices mentioned here...we hadn't tried LT in a while for dinner so I think I'll try that this time...if I remember correctly, they have delish rolls too. My family loves bread :)

just returned a week or so ago and we did Crystal palace for dinner and Ohana (right up the walk way to the mono) and Ohana was delicious as usual...or yu could walk to Contemporary and eat at one of their restaurants...

When people recommend dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, I scratch my head and wonder if they ate at the same place that I did. My experience was much like the one described in this review by the Disunplugged

bummer! I had been planning on doing LTT for dinner before MVMCP, but will have to rethink that after watching that review:guilty:

We had lunch there last December, it was horrible. The only meal I was hated. WE ordered two orders of the pot roast and asked to split it between the three of us. The food was cold. COLD! The gravy had congealed, it was that cold. I could not find our server, who had disappeared once we asked to split the meal, (the only time this ever happened) so we needed a "stranger" to help. He did deliver the warmed over plate for me, but again, it was just Luke warm. The vegetables ranged from over to crunchy. IT is the nly restaurant other than 'Ohana that I am avoiding forever. Except my family may want me to relent on 'Ohana. I do nto see that happening with LTT.

Liberty Tree Tavern IMO is the best meal in MK. The Plaza is wonderful for a sandwich and soup type place, and Tonys, if you get the right thing, is doggone good too.

We just ate at LTT a week ago and experienced nothing like the video. The video review was at Thanksgiving which is a busy time. When we were there for dinner, nobody was standing to wait. We barely sat down to wait and they called us to be seated. The plates were triangular and I don't think a single plate was exactly the same because the patterns/colorings were different, which my teenage daughter loved. The service was good and the server was attentive.

The salad was good, nothing extra special. The rolls and butter were yummy and didn't look like the disks in the video. They were light and fluffy and I ate more than I should've. The food was hot. It was one of the best tasting meals we had the whole trip. The meat was fork tender. We liked the mac and cheese. The only food that we didn't eat a lot of were the green beans because Disney loves to put french fries and green beans as sides with a lot of their QS & TS meals and frankly, we were sick of green beans. The dessert was hot and was really good too and looked nothing like the two disks of bread/muffin-like things in the video. The sauce with the bread and ice cream was so good and we didn't think we could eat it after the big yummy meal but we did! The amount of food was a lot and you could get more if you wanted more.

Again, keep in mind that the video above is during Thanksgiving and it sounded like it was really busy and they were swamped, which would explain the cold food. Our food was not even plattered like the video, either. It was plattered more like dinner at Garden Grill (only better). Again, one of our best meals of our 10 day trip.
