I know there is no right answer here but I wanted to see what the groups thought were. What would you say was the best bang for the buck when you stay at a DVC resort. Personally I like all of them but for the buck I like Boardwalk because of its vicinity to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and of course the Boardwalk itself. There is just so much (free) entertainment in that area. I would venture to say the SSR is my next do to it being next to DTD and the resort is big so venturing to another pool is like a day trip. Thoughts from the group!

Everyone has different opinions so there isn't a good answer.

It all depends on what you like because you are the only one who matters, it's your money and your vacation.

I would agree and say the BWV standard studios. I love the BW resort and EP area. The Boardwalk in the early mornings for running is awesome and I love the entertainment at night.

I have to agree and it's exactly the reason I added on here. I'm always using my 11 month window to secure the standard studios.

I like Boardwalk okay, but the kids don't like the creepy clown pool. My long-term personal favorite at WDW is Bay Lake Tower and more recently, Grand Floridian villas. I like the monorail access. That being said....my # DVC resort is Aulani followed closely by Grand Californian. You can't beat the "your staying in the park" feel at the Grand Californian. We could actually see our balcony from California Adventure. I loved sitting out on the balcony watching the empty park (except for an occasional CM) in the morning. And we would leave the park and be back in our room in less than 5 minutes.

I'll vote for the AKV value studios. And one time I got a value studio overlooking the savannah. Then I REALLY thought I had the best bang for the buck.

As noted, many personal components here. My personal best is whatever I can get in a 1 BR or larger on exchange that works for my timing. Directly on points a group I'd point out is the sleep five 1BR unit for many groups and OKW studios with the 1 queen beds.

For DW and I we choose AKL-Jambo with Kidani being a close second.
We enjoy the darkness of the rooms and the overall themeing of the resorts.
Then our choice comes down based on what we want to do that trip, cause we enjoy all the resorts.

BWV standard 1br's are what I generally consider best bang for the buck.

Otherwise a BLT theme park view studio or BWV Boardwalk view studio are my other big bangs for the buck.

This is based almost entirely on what I'd have to pay to Disney to have similar accommodations or guaranteed views.

I vote for OKW, because of the space for the points and being able to park right at the door.

Every resort has its advantages and I'm glad there are so many to choose from now. My new favorite is VGF.

I own at BWV and I almost always choose BWV standard view studio or OKW studio (same amount of points for either). Both of these resorts are among the lowest point cost per night. BWV has the location and OKW has the best parking and I like the pools, other than the main one they are usually not overcrowded. My personal Favorite but not best point value is VGC as it is beautiful and walking distance to Disneyland
