As Steph mentioned, here in CT there are possible thunderboomers tomorrow afternoon and in the 90's .... then it's supposed to cool off to low 80's for the weekend ... and be sunny !

It was beautiful in Maine today! We ate and walked on the boardwalk at Old Orchard Beach....went on a few rides there....then hit some stores in Kittery.

Who said you guys weren't chatty today.....I had 4 pages to read to catch up!!! I loved reading all about the softball games...both LK and SB sure are good sports. When we got home there was a call from Matt's all-star coach asking for his uniform size. After all the comments about uniforms on this thread, guess what I was picturing!!!!

Feel really tired now from being out in the sun all day. Thank goodness for air conditioning!!!

Gaspode - can Bernie use that pic of your bathroom for the riddle tomorrow? Just don't look when he gets behind the curtain as you are sitting there!

Gail, I have been to Kittery many times, my father was in the coast guard auxillery there, and they and the real coast guard escorted my mother and me out to the shoals to scatter his ashes 10 years ago in August. I have fond, but very tearful memories of there. And be careful about that uniform, I imagine the little league rules would have to be rewritten!

Here's a request for one of you New Englanders, I want a box of mixed chocolate and peanut butter kissed from the Goldenrod Kiss Factory in York Beach. And a Lobster Roll from anywhere, but that is not doable, so I will stick with the candy!

Off to see if I can figure out Steph riddle to me! I will be up at 5am tomorrow to get DH to the airport, see you all on the riddle.

And start packing!!!! We will be moving right quick. I scout out some nice area later.

Marsha - Are you celebrating yet? Congratulaions! And good luck to your DH

SB - LOL! I think that Bernie might not really want to journey all the way over here to use our bathroom, but of course he (and any of the angels) is always welcome!!

Just had a very scary thing happen. Heard a loud crash, shouted DBF, he didn't answer, ran out of our bedroom and he was lying at the bottom of the stairs... I rushed to him and he said he had fallen from about 2/3 of the way down. I was asking him if he was okay etc when, well, I don't really know what happened. He says he must have blacked out but it was really scary. He started making this strange noise (kinda like snoring) and sliding down the stairs even further. His eyes were all glazed over and he wasn't responding/recognising me. I was practically going hysterical and was just off to phone for an ambulance when he snapped out of it.

Of course, after that, I didn't want him to go to work. But he inisisted it was just a bit of shock because he fell with quite a bump. He was also in a cold sweat. I've never been so worried!!!! Anyways, my Dad gives him a lift to and from work so I told him to keep an eye out so hopefully everything will be just fine. Horrible it was though

Gaspode - do you have an update about your boyfriend? That sounded really scary to go through. I think I would have still taken him to the hospital to get checked out. Keep us posted.

Rain here in the morning, but it supposed to clear up soon. I hope so, because I am taking the kids to a water park today along with my friend and her two boys. I am planning on spending my time riding in the lazy river, because my entire body is so sore from yesterday.

Wonder how many pages we can get to this time before we are locked?

Another nice, warm day today...supposed to cool off a bit for the weekend. Today's is my last "official" day of vacation but we still have the weekend. Matt has another playoff game tonight.

Hey Marsha,
I've gotcha covered on Goldenrod...I'll be there this weekend, and get the kisses for you.

When I was in HS, a bunch of us stayed at York Beach for the weekend (something my children are NEVER doing) and my then boyfriend bought me a huge lion stuffed animal that I named "Goldenrod"......very fond memories of York Beach.
