It is raining here again today.

They had to move the high school graduations indoors, which means many people who planned on attending can't. I guess DS's soccer game will be postponed. DD just left to take the SATs for a second time.

Won't be much exciting going on here.

Rainy morning here! We are going to a wedding this afternoon, so I hope it stops for a little while. My box should be received today, I hope. I think this person can use a little cheering up!

Just got my name in the magnet exchange, too. I get to send something overseas!

I will be catching up tomorrow. Unless, of course, when I wander over to the yearbook and see if my picture from Alan deserves a comment or two...

My nephew's graduation is today and I was really looking forward to going, but alas, it is raining. It is moved indoors and i don't get to go. He came in 2nd in his class, and I wanted to see his speech.

Since LK is going to a wedding today, her kids get to come and spend the day w/ my kids and sleep over. Wonder what kind of nice things they will want to post about her tonight when i get back on?

Sorry about the graduation. That happened here too. My friend's DD is salutatorian. My friend has herself and DH, her 2 parents, and 2 other DDs for a total of 6 family members. They get 3 tickets. What a decision to make. The grandparents traveled here from Kansas.

Alan, your description of last night was so nice.....you truly are a lucky man and your DW is blessed as well.

We're heading to a graduation brunch in about an hour. My bestest friend of all time's (we met in 1974!) niece graduated from college a few weeks ago. We've known Kelly since the day she was born and I can't fathom how she's old enough to graduate from college....since I'm only in my 20's, right??

It's not raining here-yet-but it's headed our way again. I was hoping to get to plant the rest of my annuals this afternoon but I don't think that's going to happen. It probably won't clear until tomorrow afternoon....right on time for Matt's game but no time to garden.

You're a good auntie Lorraine.....can't wait to hear from Logan & Leah tonight!!!
(Have a great night LK.....don't worry about a thing.....Auntie Lorraine and all the other aunties from around the country will be chatting with your kids!!!)

Good Morning Everyone.
It's overcast and threatening to rain here today...but hasn't started yet. I did get the lawn mowed (third time in one week)
We're hoping to head to "find Nemo" (meghan talk" this afternoon. All is dependent upon DH getting home from work. He's been home for about 12 hours in the last 72....the end IS in sight?!?!!
Lars.....I want to make sure you got my message about my maps and earrings....I posted on RMT and this board...but you've been as elusive as I have.....
Birthday party today for my neighbor's dad who lives with them (you've probably heard me mention the disabled gentleman that I "keep an eye on") he turned 67 this week, and no man in his immediate family has lived beyond 67, so we're celebrating. I helped my GF decorate the hall yesterday, we hung the decorations, and I decided that the table were missing something.....sooooooo....a flash of brilliance, I came up with prune juice bottles with daisies in them.....they are SO cute!!!!
well, supposed I should shower and get dressed at some point.

Morning all, at least still for me! Very bad night here. We have to confine our female doggy, she has had 3 accidents on the new carpet, and it ain't pretty. I stayed on the couch till 1am, she was knocking into the barrier, she broke through at midnight and let hersef out the dog door, but spilled the water bowl. When she came back in, I put 3 chairs in front of the barrier, too heavy for her to move, so she statrted crying, loudly. Needless to say, we did not sleep well. I have a wedding to go to also. It is at 11am and the reception is outside following. High today 102, we are thankful for that! And Dr Atkins has been kind enough to allow me to fit into a really pretty cotton dress, so I will be not to hot temp wise. I posted the answer to the fluff riddle - Patio Furniture.

I'll check in again later, have a good Saturday.
