Thanks! I had wondered if it was some sort of school program. I grew up in an area where scouting was not active so I never really knew anything about it.

Erm... I think I've had moon pie, some Cantonese friends gave me some during their festival of the new moon (?)... but what is RC? should I be afraid? LOL

* Oreo Pop-tarts

Oh yeah, and some brown-sugar-cinnamon and smore pop tarts too....

and my dad shall purchase a large bag of sour cream and chive lays LOL

LOL!! I have seen an episode of Sagwa, a Public Broadcasting System cartoon about an Asian cat, that mentioned those authentic moon pies!

In this case, IHSEIM

It is a choccolate (or banana flavored) coating over two cookies which surround a marshmallow filling. It is a often used as a stereotype of the Southern United States.

We've got to all get together and trade desserts sometimes!!

Sorry...only me, no siblings......and it's spelled DiOrio. About a month ago...on an earlier RMC thread....we had lots of laughs as several angels tried to figure out which cookie was part of my last name. I think one of my favorite guesses was DiChipsAhoy!!!

I remember that part! I nearly pee'd my pants laughing at all the names we came up with.

Melissa, tell Mr DBF that it's OK if he leaves you for a night, as long as when he returns he has gifts, and lots of them, and meaningful ones, and flowers, and of course chocolates. And something Disney, but in order to get that, he has to take you there, again.

That should keep him home.

Moon pies are really good too.
