Good Evening Everyone!

Well, I washed my dirty car and had it looking really nice today....and then the rain decided that my car was too clean and shiny and so the lovely rain let loose this afternoon. My DS got his soccer game in just in time. Thank goodness that they don't keep score at this age 'cause the other team was smokin' us.

Does anyone else have the CD-ROM game RollerCoaster Tycoon for their kids? My DD and DS were having a blast making all the people walk around puking their guts out. They were calling it Puke Park!!!

Rented To Catch A Thief for my DH and myself to watch tonight. Hope I can stay awake for it.

I am multi-tasking right now. Made the mistake of sitting down at the computer to order some things off Amazon for DD's upcoming birthday. Couldn't miss checking in haere.

I am also in the middle of making frosting for my mother's cake, doing paperwork for work from yesterday, and doing laundry. Isn't this the fun way to spent a Saturday night?

Evening all! Holes was great. DD and I had a great time. Just the girls for the afternoon. We left the theater and picked DH up at home to head to the South Shore Plaza and some shopping at the Disney Store. Today's special was buy a beach towel and get a beach chair free. Seeing DD is a tad too big for the chair, she's giving it to a friend's 4 year old daughter. Hit a few more stores before heading home to unwind. Busy day and I'm feeling beat. Hopefully I'll have a chance to stop in tomorrow. Have a great night all!

so far. Tomorrow, it will be completly glued. This installation is called double stick. The pad gets glued to the concrete and the carpet gets glued to the pad. We are using a commercial carpet this time, this is the 3rd time we have recarpeted the house since 1995.

Carol, too many chores, I have to do laundry tomorrow.

I get to see movies when I am in Atlanta at friends, or when she is here. Otherwise, I have to wait for the DVD.

The pictures are in opposite order!

This is the carpet and border, before being trimmed in properly. The fleld carpet has little dots in it, but they don't show up on the picture.

The black is the pad, it is rubber, this is NOT plushy cushy, but it is nice to walk on.

Tonight was the Middle School Play & Megan was in it. She did great & the play was enjoyable

Lorraine, chocolate cake with butter cream frosting. The cake was a box mix but the frosting was from scratch. I made it pink.

Only finished 2 loads through the dryer but the wet clean ones are ready for tomorrow. I finished my paperwork but am too tired to pay my mother's bills. I am going to bed.

Remember me????? We're finally home and mostly defrosted. Matt's game didn't start until after 8 and went the full 6 innings but they won!!!! After the game we made a pilgrimmage to our brandy-new St. Krispy of the Kreme!

It's the first in RI and we waited in line for about 10 minutes. (that means we don't have to go to church in the morning, right?)

Lorraine, we have that game.....although it's not yet loaded on the new computer. You may not want to tell your kids but mine enjoy drowning guests in the lake....as well as making them puke. I'm so proud!

I'm also pooped so I'll catch up in the morning. Wonder how LK made out tonight with that Brownie Stew????

Morning all! Glad to know I don't seem to be the only person who was sort of MIA for a short short while.

Gaspode, it's been ages since I have ever been to chat myself. I think that is 2 PM EDT and if that is the time then I will probably be out with my DH looking at cars. Someday I will have to check it out.

Yep, y'all read right, we might be looking into a new car. I'll have to tell you all when we get back this afternoon

Gaspode, I have been in that chat once, it is usually full of Disney loving Brits just like you! I doubt if I will make it, I will be helping Pete finish the LR project and then doing the grocery shopping, the usual Sunday things.

Gail, congrats on not having to wait in the communion line for to long. Gee, the things I have missed by haing my kid so many years ago. He never got too into video games, but that one sounds like a doozy.

My allergies are really acting up. We stirred up so much dust moving everything yessterday, I couldn't sleep past 5am from all the sneezing and nasal floods. If my Clairatin kicks in, I'm going back to bed. If not, I have at least 3 loads of laundry, the bed sheets, and who knows what else to do.

Marsha-Today is my grocery shopping day too!
Elaine-Matt's been test driving every car in the world lately trying to decide what to buy when his truck lease is up! I find it extremely BORING and avoid going in any way I can think of!
Lorraine-Puking theme park guests??? ewwwww!!!

Gaspode, doubt if I will be in chat. It always moves too fasr for me.

We have Roller Coaster Tycoon also. I have seen both the puking guests and the drowning guests. It is also fun to make a path that leads nowhere and people have to turn around when they get to the end.

Still doing laundry. How do they get so many clothes dirty.

I cut church today. Having a real problem with our pastor so decided to take a break.

We are looking at used cars for sale by owner on the side of the road. We need another car so DD can have something to drive. Can't afford another car payment though.

Good morning,

Finally a sunny, fairly comfortable day around here. My plans include starting to plant some stuff.....although it's still supposed to get cold tonight so I'm only doing pots I can bring inside.

DH gets the joy of helping DS with not one, but two school projects. I won't go into details now but I'm sure I'll be whining about them soon enough!

Gaspode - I've never been to chat on Sunday but sometimes pop in on Saturday evenings.

Carol & Elaine - happy car hunting!

Lars - you made me chuckle when I first read your comment about Matt test driving every car in the world. My first thought was gee, the kid just turned 14, how old can they drive in Michigan! Then I remembered that DH shares the same name as DH!!

Hope you're feeling better Marsha. Allergies can really do a number on you.
