It's still absolutely freezing here.

It's mid JUNE! And my DS is wearing a jacket to go to watch his team play baseball....

Sheesh! We'll have summer in November at the rate we're going!

I can relate Gina, I wore long pants and took a sweatshirt for our baseball game last night....it was freezing once the sun went down.
It was finally nice here today, hopefully summer has arrived.

The soccer season is now over. At least this one. I watched DD's game from the car because of the cold drizzle we are having. It was only in the 60's today. Way too cool for June. I hope it warms up before we go to the beach.

My package is on the way west. YAY

Oh this reminded me of two things 1) Lars check your e-mail when you get home and 2) I just upped my minutes on my cell phone so I can <s>bug</s> chat with more of you and on a regular basis. Hopefully I will be okay with just 800 minutes plus the night/weekend time I have.

I KNEW I spoke too soon!!! When I signed on my computer I had 27 messages ALL of which were e-mail notifications for the DIS.....now???? NADA.....oh well.....at least I had a MOMENT of joy (fleeting as it may have been)!

I do not mean to be bad with my weather! It will get worse, believe me. I will be reporting 115 soon! Then 120+ and water temp will go to 94, it's not refreshing at that point.

Carol, thanks for being to organizer for our first angel exchange. I will do it in the fall if you all want! I know you are glad the sports season is over, too cold!!! I will send some hot air over to the Outer Banks for you.

I don't like the messed up boards, either, too many DIS locations on my favorites list.

DS called earlier, apparently he is being offered a position in Tampa, assistant manager of a brand new store. The guys that are already assigned there are all from drums, he is going down in July to help with the grand opening. I think it would be good for him to be away from Atlanta, and get in with new people. I think they are all single guys, too, so he can rent a room with them. We shall see. It would be odd if he goes there, and we go to Boca, we all wanted to be in FL, maybe the gods are smiling on us.

My 13 yr old nephew has made the All Star baseball team (again), sister says if they do well, they will go here and there, and could end up at the world series. She doubts they are that good, but it will be her luck, since that's during our trip to the world. She will send him with her hubby and then bring him to WDW later! She isn't missing a day at AKL! Wonder if his father will go to any of the games, he is a royal pri**!
