On other message boards earlier today, I heard a report that Bernard & Bianca from "The Rescuers" were spotted at the Toontown Teardrop at the Magic Kingdom recently.

I hope that it's true, because it can only be a good sign that even more of our old friends are coming back from retirement to visit the parks again.

I would LOVE that! We are going in December and one thing I have been hoping for is to see a really huge selection of characters. DH, who is a Disney fan but has never been before, has been asking me about some of the less modern and perhaps less popular characters. Does anyone know if there is any sort of attraction, character or other representation anywhere in the world for The Great Mouse Detective?

No way! Ok, now I really have to bug DH about going again!!!!!!!

The Rescuers was my favorite movie when I was a little girl and I just love that my girls love it too.

My Dad teased me by saying the only reson I liked the movie was because Penny remined me of myself : a red headed rag-a-muffin LOL! Yep, thats me well, at least when I 8. I would like to think I have grown out of the "dishiveled orphan, searching the bayou for the Devil's eye" look.

Anyway, I digress.... I would love to see them! Hope someones got a picture!

It would be great to see Bernard & Bianca!!! I just ordered a few Disney Mice pin sets from DisneyShopping during the last sale, and I was going to use them as traders, but I can't give up the Bernard & Bianca pin! It's so cute!

This was my favorite movie when I was a little girl. I think if I saw Bernard & Bianca in the parks, I would cry!

That would be AMAZING! The last time I saw them (also the ONLY time I saw them) was in 1988! My sis and I have our picture with them. On that same trip we also met Bongo and Lulu Belle. That was pretty cool. Hope the Rescuers will be out again soon!!!

I just read that post. They also saw shan-yu in China. and Marie and her two brothers are appearing in mainstreet. they said.. that they may stay appearing on main street, so i guess that means they are at wdw! What are her two brothers names?
