Bermuda anyone?

I've been looking into Bermuda lately. My parents went for their 25th wedding anniversary but that was 26 years ago. I would love to go.

Thoughts on the best places to eat? Things to do? Overall recommendations?

All I know is that it is EXPENSIVE.

Subscribing because my husband and I are thinking about Bermuda for a vacation.

I went as a teen and found little to do, the island shuts down by 10:00 pm. It is really about the beach and the dining.

I have been several times since and just love Bermuda, but have only stayed at the Sonesta Beach where all meals are included. Next time, our dream is to go to 'The Reefs', which is next door but smaller and more intimate. Gorgeous surroundings, I look forward to returning.

Would they consider taking a cruise there? I did it with a large group and there are many pluses. We sailed out of NY ( Norwegian) and it gave us the best of both worlds. 3 days docked on the island, all the sightseeing and beach access, a great place to sleep, and eat ( no extra expense this way) and the other ships ammenities while enjoying the island. Do not miss Horseshoe Bay!!!! Loved it!!!
We sailed the Norwegian Dawn...but would love to try Royal Caribbean. So, it's just a thought....hope they get there...it is my favorite island of all that I've been to so far.
