No photos - you can probably do a search on the boards, though. I don't think they're very big - I'd say most people would eat 2-3 for a meal. They're pretty tasty, but I don't think they're a very good deal, we've found our money stretches better at other places :rolleyes1

One skewer would not be enough for a meal but could serve as a small snack. Sometimes I really like this place, and other times I just find it meh. It's always slow. We have at times had the food cooked really well, and at other times the veggies come off tasting not cooked enough or way too salty. The meat ones usually work out ok. DH likes the beef skewer, and I always get the chicken. Sometimes DH will get a second meat skewer for himself, and we always get a veggie one to share. That usually gets me about 1 1/2 skewers, and, of course, I'm always still hungry. Just gives me an excuse to get a sweet treat later. Sorry, no pictures.

I get one chicken and one veggie skewer and it's enough for me but it's not a huge meal. I agree that there are better deals in the park but I like it because I feel like I'm eating "real" food instead of just junk. And then I have room for a snack later if I see something good.

I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch, I feel DL offers better restaurants & counter service places that are far better. I have eaten there twice and found the skewers to be small for the price, they are smother in salty sauce and their tigger tails (pretzel) were hard. Just my two cents.

I love the skewers. They arnt that big. I usually buy 2 Cheicken Skewers and my wife buys 1 Beef. .

We love them too...my husband and I usually get three skewers and split...and a couple of diet cokes is about $20.

I'm ok with fewer people liking Bengal BBQ though...just means a shorter line when we go! ;):rotfl:

I think of the skewers at Bengal BBQ as more of a snack than a meal; they're yummy, but small. IMO it'd take a few of them to make an adult-sized light meal. At around $4 each, for that price you could get a plateful of food at a CS place.

They're pretty tasty but you need 2 or 3 to make a meal. I think that's the point. You mix-and-match to get variety.

We usually get one meat one each and an asparagus one to share. It's plenty for a light lunch or dinner when you're eating a big meal at another time during the day. I think they're a pretty good deal, myself!:thumbsup2

I think the veggie skewers are quite big, with the hunks of potato. (My mom bought two and I'm not sure she managed to finish!) I reckon one of those and a meat skewer would make a decent meal.

My tastes are simple so I usually just get a Banyan Beef skewer and then figure I can snack more later. :)

You would need at least 2-3 skweres per person for a meal, but I love the bacon wrapped asparagus as a snack!

well now seeing the pics I may have changed my mind...we are looking for a light lunch on a day we are having a sit down breakfast and dinner - this may be just the spot!

thanks! yummy

I like one banyan and one veggie. That fills me up but I'm not completely stuffed. I don't like to feel stuffed at DLR anyway. The veggie one has no sauce with it but comes with lemon I like to squeeze on it. And I usually dip in left over banyan sauce from my meat.

:goodvibesMy Dh, DS9, and I each had one skewer (1 beef, 2 chicken) and shared a asparagus/bacon and a tiger tail between the 3 of us. We also shared a lemonade. We were satisfied, and the food is good.

If you need a little more, there is a fruit stand almost across the walk way. We usually get one meat for each, one aaparagus to share and one fruit.

Have a wonderful trip.

Bengal Tiger is one of my fav's. It has been reported a couple of times that it would be removed. I truly hope this never happens. My go to is the Banyan Beef (spicy) and the vegetable skewer. I usually pop into the RiverBelle for some condiments. Tabasco and butter for the vegies. This is a great lunch, or a light dinner.:thumbsup2:tink:

Maybe someone else can confirm that the skewers used to be much larger. :confused3 I think they reduced the size of the chunks of meat when DL tightened its belt. I LOVE this place! :lovestruc
