OK, I know nothing about DVC and little about timeshares in general. I've gone to a few presentations by Fairfield and others to get their free stuff. I never bought because I work for an airline and can get some good interline discounts.
Recently, we moved to Florida and are Florida resident passholders and can take advantage of AP rates and Florida resident rates on DCL. Plus, I still get my interline benefits on other cruiselines, hotels, and resorts. My wife and I are in our mid 50s and our DD is 13.
Now, one drawback, I work for FedEx and Disney used to give us 15% discounts on tickets and 50% off resort rates. Since we dropped our sponsorship of Space Mountain, they took that away. But, we still have our AP discounts.
So, the question is. I see the DVC booths at the parks and on the ships and have avoided them. But, with my circumstances, would it be worth the time to see a presentation and, more importantly, is DVC something that would be worth it to us?
