Um!! WOW! where have I been??

I heard this song this weekend and it is amazing!

I think I am going to use it for my processional! I printed the line on our thank you letter (DH saw the lyric below and said "wow..that is GOOD")

and in a white sea of eyes

i LOVE this song!!! I really want this song to be mine and DF's first dance song, but I'm having a hard time selling him on the idea. He thinks its too "emo"...... ::sigh::

He listens to indy rock, and thinks he's too cool for music like that I guess!!

Def use it, its a beautiful song and I think the lyrics are so poetic!

Yeah, I heard this song a while back, and actually used it for a project I had to do in my English class.

my DH nixed alot of songs as too sappy for our Palo background music, but he likes this song..
He was one who picked the line above...the more I listen to it..the more perfect it gets (he was in a bad marriage before and she really hurt him, so the pain lead him to me..at least that is what he says)

Just an update...

we had the sheet music for "The Luckiest" and gave it to the pianist..what a WONDERFUL job he did!! He played it for us one night in the Cadillac Lounge and then did it for my processional...great, great song!!

lol, emo = emotional... i think. Its like music that teenagers listen to. Typically "emo" music has lyrics that are all "Woa is me, I'm a teenager and no one understands me" ... emo!
I think this song is wonderful and perfect for a wedding. Its such a pretty song, and NOT emo at all.

"Indie rock" is... well in definition, they are artists who are not playing for some big name label... unsigned, and just doing their thing. They have a great reputation for being true to themselves, and just playing music for the love of playing music... at least thats how I see it.

I had never heard this song either until recently. My sister got married on May 24th this year and she surprised her groom by singing that song to him at the reception.
