Belz??

We used to shop in Belz outlet but last year it was being knocked down. Anyone know if it has been rebuilt yet? We fly Nov 29th so were wondering if it would be back. If not where do most people shop for bargains?

Yes part of it has reopened this month. The best place we find is the Premium Outlets just outside of WDW at Lake Buena Vista

Orlando Premium Outlets at the end of the south side of I-drive is best for bargain hunters.
Sportswear is particularly good value for money.

The old Belz Factory Outlet is now called Prime Outlets International. The old Mall#2 was mostly torn down and rebuilt as an outdoor plaza type of shopping center. It reopened a couple weeks ago. The old Mall#1 building is being renovated with many new higher end shops opening. The spread-out Designer Shops further south on I-Drive is still open too but there are more empty shops there as some of them have relocated back to the new plaza.

Be sure to stop at the mall office to pick up a free discount sheet.

Many thanks for all your replies. Its a shame we are only going for 2 weeks. I have to be honest here I do like shopping in Florida as much, if not more than my wife!

We visited it just a couple of days after it had opened and not all the shops had opened. It is in the style of Premium Outlets, ie it is basically rows of shops with a central walkway in the outside. Personally I prefer the indoor shops where you can get away from the heat for longer. So if the hubbie and sons are buying up Hollister I can just wait outside. Though Apple very kindly put their shop right next door to the Hollister one in the Mall of Millennia providing an ideal escape to free internet browsing.

We visited on 18th Aug and most shops are now open. Phase 2 is well underway, and like wicket2000 said. it is a newer, cleaner version of Prime Outlets. I also use the Apple 'facilities' in Florida Mall

We just got back.....we visited the Premium and the Prime......I liked the Prime Tommy shop as the kids and adults were in one place....it is soooo much than the old Belz outlets...all the shops were all over the place....we like our sports got soo many bargains...brought a pair of Adidas shorts for DS for $7.95!!....saw the same pair in JC Penny for $18!!
