Belz Mall

When we were in Orlando at Easter this year Belz was busy and I thought rumours of its demise had been greatly exaggerated. Sure there were a couple of empty shops but there always will be in a mall of its size. Then after we came home I read that it had changed hands then that it closed down completely for total refurbishment. The web site seems to indicate that it is now open again.

Can anyone who has returned recently tell me what the current status is please. Is it open? How has it changed?

Please don't all tell me to go to Premium Outlets instead. We always visit there too but found it rather disappointing last time.

I cannot really answer your question but my friend is in Orlando now. I had warned him it might be closed. He texted me to say it is now called Pr1me
Outlets so I guess it is open.

We drove past a couple of times when visiting Festival Bay - it is definitely now called Prime Outlets, the shops did appear to be open.

Discussion thread from a while back. Also Website of new owners. Last time I emailed them there response was a 3 year makeover but stores staying open.

It was all open in July.
