Sunday Nov 6th Day 16
Ok Folks, bear with me. This is our penultimate day. The plan was to do MK. Reality is that we just fancy a laid back day. So........we get up at 9.30am, shower and take a wander over to the Pepper market for brekkie. Georgia had waffles and cereal, Alex has a cinnamon roll and John and I have egg combo which is scrambled egg, bacon/sausage, potatoes and a muffin +coffee and OJ. This came to $40 which I thought was quite pricey, bearing in mind what you pay at the buffet breakfast restaurants!!
We pop into the hotel shop and the girls both want an Eyore. We went back to the room and I took the girls swimming whilst John popped back to the Premium Outlets to get a spongebob DVD set for Georgia for Xmas. Talking of Xmas, I forgot to say that when we were in MK they had already started to put the decortaions up along mainstreet. It looked relly pretty. We have not been here so late in November before, so it was nice to see the Xmas decs up. Really getting into the Xmas spirit. After John gets back we decide to rent a Boston Whaler motor boat which has a canopy and seats 6 people. It was $33 for half an hour. I thought we would be able to take it off the complex but unfortuntley we couldn't. So we just sailed around the Coronado lake, it was still good fun though and something new.
We have dinner tonight at Ohana's so we decide to do one more blast of Walmart, only spend $40
and then River Congo golf on the 192. We had not done this before and it was good fun. Georgia beat me, which she lived on for ages. We then popped back to the room to freshen up and were at Ohana's by 7pm. We booked in and were given our beepers. Just as we sat down to order a drink it went off. We had a great seat near the window overlooking the castle. I was looking forward to seeing Wishes from here. The food came and it was very nice. John loved the cheesy potatoes all though they were too creamy for me. The bread and butter puding was very nice also. Shame they do not do the pineapple and caramel sauce any more. $103 lighter plus tip, and we head to DTD for one more look around. Buy some yummy soaps from Basin, and then back to the room for our last night at the Coronado. We decide to get up early and do one last breakfast at Crackerbarrell, we'll see...........
