Belle in yellow dress at Akershus?

Akershus was our very first character meal at Disney in May 2007. Aurora was greeting in the lobby in her pink dress but we saw Belle in her blue dress during the meal. We didn't go back on our second trip as we were trying out new restaurants. I think your chances are pretty good that Belle will be greeting in the lobby.

I think Belle's yellow gown is difficult for her to move around in - so you will find her wearing that dress when she doesn't have to move too much. Like in the Toontown room or as the greeting princess at Akershus. If she's going to be moving around the tables or out in the parks (like in France or her storytime) - she'll be in her blue dress.

She is very likely to be found at Akershus as the greeting princess in her yellow dress.

A back up plan might be Toon Town, 98% of times I've been there Belle was there in yellow dress and I've been able to see who was in room before getting in line by looking at sign at start of line. Plus princess line was basically walk in during my Jan 09 trip.

Well, imagine meeting you here! Let's see..... a thread that mentioned a princess gown...... Hmmmmmmmmmm..... Had to figure you'd find me here!

She sure moves around pretty well in her gown at Ariel's Grotto princess dining at Disneyland! They just must have bigger hoops in Florida. I saw the Queen of Hearts in the Teacups at D-Land once, so I asked the Queen's handler in FL if she ever rides. She said her skirt's too big........

Quick question on the picture with Belle - we are eating there in three weeks - it will be 4 adults and 2 little princesses - do we just get one picture for the whole group or is a picture per person?

You get one picture for the whole group for 5 people and under. I THINK if you have 6 people or more you can get a 2nd picture. (I think someone confirmed that # on another post).

You can decide who is in the picture - just the kids or the whole family or whoever. If you do get 2 pictures with 6 people - you could do one with the girls and one with the whole family - or something like that.

You get one picture per party- you can decide who is in that picture. We had it just dd and Belle. Seeing Belle in her yellow drewss was a surprise for us, we had no idea. DD was given the Belle yellow dress that morning. it magically appeared in our room overnight.
The photgrapher then took a group shot with my camera, and I think on our photopass as well.
Just ask! They are very accomodating.

We were there in Dec. and Belle was there in her yellow dress. On a side note, our pics here came out much better than our pics at CRT. I think maybe the lighting is better. Even the PhotoPass pic with Cindy looked dark.

I think Belle is pretty reliable in Norway, but on very rare occasion it will be someone else. We've been twice in the past 18 months and she was in yellow both times. She also appears out in France in the world showcase but is in blue again. She also has the beast with her a lot of the time.
