Bell Vue Room ???

I don't know if this post belongs here BUT....

For those who stay at the BWV's... Have you done breakfast at Bell Vue Room??? What type of foods are there in the A.M.??? I would guess that it's like a continental breakfast... is that so??? Do they also serve sancks during the day/evening??? Is the Bell Vue Room a place where you can get a glass of wine or beer or something and just sit around there???

Yes, just pastries, bagels, cereals, etc. Nothing hot.

Do they also serve sancks during the day/evening??? Is the Bell Vue Room a place where you can get a glass of wine or beer or something and just sit around there???

They are closed during the day after breakfast. They don't serve snacks that I can recall, and we've been there probably a dozen times. It's a lounge witha full bar. There are some board games, or if the weathers nice you can sit on the balcony and people watch.

That sounds nice, esp for my solo trip at the BWV. Do they serve any kind of appetizers or "bar food" in the evening? I don't like to dine solo so a relaxing drink in the bar with say some wings or other hot pub type food would end my day very nicely! TIA

To my recollection they serve no food after the continental breakfast. You might want to think about the lounge next to the YSH--they do have a menu.

You can also get "take-out" from Spoodles if you call ahead.

And the breakfast is seasonal. Never been happening when I've been there.

Its a great bar, though.
