Bell services question - transferring bags between DL resorts

Will Bell Services at the DL Hotel transfer your luggage to the Grand Californian and visa versa? If anyone has done this, was it fairly hassle-free? We did a split stay on our last trip there in Oct 2008 and I didn't think to ask about it then - instead, we just wheeled our bags between DLH and GC.

I asked this question when at the Grand last year and was told no they will not move the luggage, but you can always ask. A number of folks have used a cab to move their stuff.

Thanks - I'll ask anyway as you suggest. When we moved hotels last time, we did it so early in the morning that Bell Services was closed.
