Bell Services air conditioned??

We plan to have Bell Services at POR hold our carry on luggage Friday while we go to breakfast at another resort. Once back we will get it and take DME to the airport. I just want to know...will our bags be kept in air conditioning? We will have snacks packed in there that I don't want melting. If that's an issue I will just travel to breakfast with them....but would much rather just leave them at Bell Services if possible

I don't know about A/C, but they do have refrigerators you could ask them to store the snacks in if you pack them separately (or if you can easily repack them into a separate, smaller bag when you arrive).

Having spent some time in bell services area...(our luggage was accidentally taken from our car at WL and sent immediately to BVW.) Goodness only knows why, but they invited us to search for our own luggage and I assure you the areas are air conditioned. And the other poster is correct...there are refrigerators and freezers.

I used to work at the bell desk at another resort and the luggage storage area was definitely temperature controlled.

I wouldn't worry about the temp at bell services unless you are also worried about the temps on the plane or in the airport as well? If they are that sensitive to heat, you may want to buy some chemical or physical ice packs to use to keep things cold.

Sounds good! I just wanted to be sure my things weren't somehow out in the 90+ degree weather. Probably a stupid question, but I feel better confirming

they can store perishable food in a real fridge so pack the the snacks in a bag you can pull out and hand them separate and let know if you want to ensure it stays at fridge temp. they do this for grocery deliveries.. don't forget a luggage tag on the bag you plan to pull out. Otherwise, it's in a room that I can't say for sure is air conditioned.. I've never had my bags feel cold when I put them in or out of storage but at the same time they've never been hot either.
