Bell in FL?

Hello!!

Can anyone tell me if my Bell cellphone will work in Florida? I know there are plans you can buy, but I don't PLAN on using it, so I don't want to pay extra. I just want to know if it will work for emergency purposes.

I bought a PC phone card for regular calls.

My Bell Mobility phone worked last year. I only used it once but like you I wanted to have in on me in case of emergencies.

Yes, your bell phone will work as long as you plan allows roaming as apposed to just home area. Your phone must also be set to allow roaming and not just limited to home area. Take your phone to a bell center if you have any doubts, and they can check it for you as well as the plan you are on.

Make sure you use it only in emergencies as roaming fees and international taxes on roaming can really boost the price of a call. Bell also has short term roaming plans (additons to your current plan) available.
