How in the world do I get a high score? I am seeing my friends scores in the 100,000's or 200,000's .......

Just keep playing and use the boosts, I've scored over $500,000!

Use at least 2 ro 3 boosts and that will get you up there.

For the best tips, go to youtube and search Bejeweled Blitz. There's a guy who has done a series of "how to" videos.

Use the boosts -- I like to combine the multiplier boost and the free special jewel boost (as you look at them, they're the first and last). Those multipliers make a HUGE difference. I've never felt that the 5 extra seconds boost is worth it.

Try to get 5 in a row if you can. Ts are very helpful, and 4 in a row gives you an exploding jewel -- get as many as possible.

Move FAST! Don't stop to think. There's not enough time to think.

Keep trying! You don't say how long you've been playing -- it took me a while to be able to get in the 100s regularly, the 200s often enough, and I've hit the 300s and even the 400s.

In addition to the boosts- start playing as soon as the jewels fall. You don't need to wait for it to say Go.

I have only been playing a short time, less than a month, but it is rare that I can get to 100,000

How about the cats eye and moonstone? Are they worth it?


Do you think its better to go as fast as you can, or to look for fours and fives?

I use the 1st, 3rd and 5th boosts and have high scores every week. Always over 400,000. I need a new hobby! Also, if you can snag a cats eye gem, use that too. They pop up at random or if a friend gets one and is nice enough to post it on their news feed, you can get it that way too.
ETA the moonstone is never worth it!!!

I have been lucky enough to win 1 million coins twice recently. Coins, boosts and a very fast mouse are the only way to go!!!!

You know, I have a theory on Bejeweled that your computer speed can affect your score. Some nights, I play game after game and can't get blazing speed. Other times, I play game after game and every game is over 200,000. If I'm getting low scores, I'll clean out my history, restart my computer and do whatever I can to pick up computer speed.

In addition, what everyone has said, although we're all using different boosts, which I find interesting. I use the last 3. The most important thing is to get score multipliers. You can do blazing speed all you want, but there's a huge difference between blazing speed at X2 and blazing speed at X5. When I play, I focus on multipliers.
