Beirgarten question--sauerkraut smell...

I'm curious on how Beirgarten smells.

Does it have a heavy sauerkraut smell? My DH can't stand sauerkraut and the smell drives him bonkers.

I was just wondering.

I never really noticed. The smell that comes to my mind is more of a heavenly wine in gravy smell. mmmmm....

I don't recall any kind of saurkraut smell. I remember smelling the schnitzel sent from Heaven!

They have sauerkraut there, but it smells more like the gravy to me. Once he gets by the desserts, all bets will be off anyway!

Can't remember if it smells of sauerkraut but the sauerkraut itself is awful. Tastes like it was just taken out of a can and served.

and I hate the smell of it. I loved Biergarten though, and don't remember noticing any sauerkraut smell. I recall it smelling more like meat cooking.
