I called Disney Reservations to see if I had a pin for a room in Nov./Dec. I was told I did not, yet was offered a discount. The agent wouldn't come out and offer anything immediately, I had to pick dates, a resort etc... Since I'm in the early stages of planning, I don't have specifics planned but I guessed some dates and chose Wilderness Lodge. He offered me 3 types of rooms. I told him the cheapest of the 3 and he offered a courtyard view room for $170.00, which is a discount from $295.00.
It wasn't until I hung up that I realized the cheapest room is actually a standard room, which is $240.00. Still, $170.00 would be a great price.
I'm curious to know how others experiences in this situation are. Will they honor a discount for other resorts? Will I have to go through each resort, booking dates etc... to get them to tell me a price?
