What happens if you're late for your ADR? Will they not seat you? On our last trip we were stuck on the monorail for 1/2 hour. I was thinking what if that happened and we were on our way for a ressie somewhere. What would happen? Especially during busy times when there are no ressies available and you can't walk up anywhere. Does anyone know the rule? What if it's not your fault but disney's transportation?

I've been slightly late before, usually due to the 15-minute long line of folks at the restaurant trying to put their names in for walk-in. I've always been seated. I don't know if you showed up half an hour late (especially during a very busy time) if your adr would be honored if it were your own fault, but I'm sure if there had been a problem with Disney transportation that they'd accomodate you.

GF and I were 30 minutes late for a breakfast (problem with an alarm) at CP and were seated in a couple of minutes anyway. They officially hold tables/ressies for 20 minutes.

They would get you in.
We were late (almost 45 min!) for an ADR at the Cp....someone planned the wrong time....and they still sat us!

The one thing I didn't plan well enough for was the amount of time it takes to get to the restaurants along the monorail when staying at a resort that uses buses. So, embarrassed to say that we were quite late for 1900 Park Fare and O'Hana. Like 30 minutes for 1900. Luckily, they didn't even flinch and we were seated right away. Same for O'Hana. Now I don't know if it made a difference that our ADR's were early... like between 4:30 and 5:30, but we didn't catch any slack and next time I know to plan for more than 45 minutes to get there! (we were stuck on the monorail one time too!)

Late or not it doesn't matter whose fault it is, as they tell you when you make the reservation..allow for travel time..which means if you are taking disney transportation leave a couple hours early. (we always opt for a cab..not taking any chances on missing a good meal)

If you are late and it is a busy time..you can be put to the end of the line, seated right away, told there is not room for you at all..basically it is a roll of the dice for you..so, I WOULDN'T BE LATE..!

We were over a 1/2 hour late for dinner at BOMA,s last May...due to being WAYYYYY to long at a DVC presentation (we ended up buying in!!!)

We had no problem getting a table at BOMA's & this was on a Friday night.
