Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know if it is possible to be dropped off at Universal without having to pay the parking fee? My parents have a condo in FL, and we are flying in to stay with them (and not renting a car). Since they have been to Universal many times, they will be dropping off my family and picking us up later in the day. I'd love to save a bit of cash each day and avoid the parking fee, if possible.

Thanks for all of your help!

We stopped to pick up our APs before we checked into our hotel a few years ago and had no problem with DH and the kids waiting in the car while I picked up my AP.

Yes, you can do it. But it's very tricky. You have to enter where it says Busses and Taxi cabs. The sign may say drop off, but I think it says busses. You end up in the area to the side of the atrium, where both walkways meet. From there, you go up the stairs.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it says drop-off and there is often a cast member around if you have any questions.

So that is the same place for pick-up as well?

Is it a far walk to Citywalk from the drop-off location?

It says guest drop off/pickup. It's not very far from City walk--Just two moving walkways.

You pick up and dop off from the same place. If I remember correctly you nee to be careful at the exit when driving out as the merging lane is not so good (I can't remember exactly what the problem is, just remember some idiot nearly driving into us lol!). It's really easy to find though, my parents dropped us off there half a dozen times and they were fine.

If I were being dropped off, I would get dropped off at the Hard Rock Hotel. If the hut is manned, just mention that you are dropping off. Then drive up to the circle. Shortest walk to the parks from there.

My DH has dropped us off many times. We found a walkway next to Margaritaville that goes toward RPR if you go right, but if you go straight, it leads straight to the road. He always drops us off there, it is very close to IOA. I think that would be Hollywood Way, but I'm not sure.
