I am always cold. Love the sun and the warm weather. My biggest pet peeve is air conditioning. I don't mind it, but I am always the one that gets put under a vent or fan! Is the ship air conditioning always on high. Is it cold in the theaters, dinning rooms and staterooms? Will I need a light jacket for inside the ship?

Yes, bring a jacket. The dining rooms are especially chilly.

Yes! We went looking for the blankets up on deck to bring to specifically BVT for movies. Bring fleece/pants just in case. Better safe than sorry. Have a great time!

Same! I do not believe there is one photo of me not wearing a light sweater or wrap! I even wore a fleece jacket at one sail away party! I'm always freezing in the MDRs. I purchased a pashmina one day on board when it was on sale for $10. I think (they always seem to go on sale). I've used it every cruise since. Best purchase of the cruise!

I'm usually OK in the MDRs (but still always bring a wrap in case) but I find the theatres excessively cold if there aren't many people in them. I think the level of air conditioning is based on the assumption that it's full but when it's not, it's like you get all of it. I've spend several movies in the theatre snuggled up close to DH to suck off his heat (he never seems to be cold) when I've forgotten a sweater. After dark on deck it's definitely required. Even in the Caribbean, it can get cold after dark when the ship is moving at a good pace.

We did the Panama Canal and it was STILL cold. We had blankets from Delta that we used in the theaters. I do not feel like the MDR was ever cold...

I find most indoor venues on the cool side. Especially the theater. On our Hawaii cruise the theater was so cold that people were bringing blankets from their rooms, and from the pools to wrap up in to watch the show.

When it works. We had the temperature control turned all the way up and it still was cold in our room on our last cruise. Finally had to report it to the room host. He got maintenance in and they "fixed" it. It was better, but we still had to have it turned all the way to the warmest setting to have it be even somewhat comfortable in the room.

Only if (A) your spouse doesn't insist on continually lowering it or (B) if it's not broken. I spent our first sea day out of TX crossing the Gulf with seasickness /flu like symptoms shivering under my blankets. Took several hours for maintenance to fix it. Ugh

We've found blankets on the chairs in the Quiet Cove (classic ships) for our cooler weather trips. Not that I'd say Hawaii is a "cooler" weather trip, but it was kinda cold the first day out and last day back.

On our WBTA cruise on the Magic I was sitting at the adult only pool area one afternoon on a windy day & it was chilly. I had taken some pool towels to use to as a blanket. A high level officer walked by and offered me a blanket. So yes, they have blankets by the pool but you may have to ask.

We have had blankets out on deck on our Alaskan cruise, our TA cruises and our Canadian cruises. Did not have blankets on any of our Caribbean cruises.

We have been in the theaters and at lectures on board where there are only a handful of people (25-30) and it is cold. As stated earlier, they expect crowds almost everywhere inside. If they are not there, it is cold. Room temp controls are ify...sometimes too hot or too cold. It is easier to take off a jacket or sweater in the venue than having to run up to your room or on deck for a blanket. Maybe that is why there are so many sweatshirts in the gift shops. Our next cruise is to Alaska in June. We will take just about everything for cold and rain, but we love traveling with the mouse and friends anyway.

I never found the dining rooms or Cabanas to be cold. Always felt just right temp wise. I do always bring a wrap though to dinner in case we walk on the deck afterwards or go the show. Just on Wonder and never need a wrap/jacket in either Walt Disney or Buena Vista.

I am wearing a hoodie in every photo on the cruise Of course, I wear it in the parks too even during the summer because the AC makes me so cold in the restaurants and especially the transportation buses.
In the room though I want it extra cold and can never get it cold enough for my liking - we like to sleep snuggled under lots of blankets in a very cold room. We bring a fan on board to help circulate some cool air there.

If you are asking this question, then the answer is YES, Definitely! Personally, I am usually too hot, so I found the ship to be comfortable. But that meant that other people, like my wife, found it cold. But she knows the drill, bring something to keep warm. Easier for her to put more clothes on than for me to take more clothes off. LOL.
