Just been looking at the 'Unmasking the Horrors' daytime tours on the HHN website. Has anyone on here done one?? If so, which houses did you tour, and was it worth it??

It's gonna be my first solo HHN.....and I have to confess to being a little scared at the thought of doing the houses during the evening!! Soooo, I'm working on the assumption that seeing them with the lights on first will give me the courage to go it alone in the evening!!!!

I have been twice before....but had a husband to hang onto then, when I got so scared I had to close my eyes hehe!! Yes, I am a total wuss....but am still determined to go!

i have done the UTH tours since the first year it started.
$5.........those were the days.........lol

the morning tour will cover 3 houses and afternoon a different 3.
meet at the VIP lounge and you will find who else is assigned to your tour and meet your tour guide.

yes, lights are on during this tour and you can take all the pictures you desire.

i do the tours, both, every year and thoroughly enjoy it.
you will hear about background info and more information on the story line of the houses.
you will see things that you can't see during the night as no lights on at that time.
the details inside the houses are impressive.
you will find out how all this fits together in the theme of the house.

when you go congo line style thru the houses at night, you miss details and facts that help make sense of what you seeing/hearing.

the day tours allows you to appreciate all those details that are over missed at night.

there is no fear in doing the houses.
some do not do the day tours until after they have gone thru the houses at HHN.

me, i prefer knowing in advance of what to look for inside the houses.
i admire the staff that adds those little touches in all the houses.

if you are afraid of doing the houses at night, the day tour will give you a better perspective of what you will face at night.

it is not scary during the day.
it might calm you knowing how the house is laid out when you do go later.

i signed up for both tours.
if you book one or both of the tours, you might be meeting me......lol

i go to hhn solo each year.
for some nights, i plan ahead and meet up with some homies i have meet along the way.
some nights i am solo for the day and evening.

either way, it's all good.

what are your dates for HHN?
if they coincide with mine, you could hang with me for how ever long you want.

This year will be the first time doing an unmasking tour. We will be joining Mac and really looking forward to it. It will be interesting to see all the fine detail that goes into the houses. :thumbsup2
