My husband is a landscaper and loves gardening and I thought he might like the Behind the Seeds Tour. Our kids won't be with us since it is our anniversary trip and I don't know if this is geared towards children or appropriate for all ages. We've skipped this in the past because 2 out of 3 of our kids had no interest. Is it worth it???

DH and I really enjoyed it, and plan to do it again in the future. Personally, I think adults would probably enjoy it more than kids.

We did this many times years ago when it was new and free. We really enjoyed it.

One of our favorite experiences. My DH is a farmer and I garden. It was an interesting tour.

We (me and sons, 13 & 15 then) did the tour during a thunderstorm and all 3 of us enjoyed the tour. We would absolutely recommend.

Ours were 18 (twins), 14 and 12, and we all really enjoyed it. There is a lot of "talking", but also a lot to do. They got to release ladybugs on plants, eat samples of cucumbers grown in the pavilion, and get really up close to so many exhibits that we had only seen from the boat in the past. I don't think really little kids would enjoy it that much, as it may move too slow for them. There is also plenty of time while walking from one destination to another that they can appropriately "check their phones" :) so they may be more okay with it than they think! I think for the reasonable price and relatively short time commitment, it's worth a try!

We also went on the tour a few years back and it was a great experience.

We missed a huge thunderstorm during our Behind the Seeds tour too. It was actually really neat to see and hear in the greenhouse. DH had wanted to do Behind the Seeds for years, I wasn't too interested but went along as part of a birthday gift for him. DH was thrilled to finally participate and I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would (I really have zero interest in gardening, I kill everything). Our DS was 8 and he had fun too.

Yes, if husband grows things, he will enjoy it. I doubt you will be bored. It was fascinating to see how things grow in the greenhouses.

Went on this in 2013 with a friend who is an avid gardener. It was really a wonderful tour. I'd recommend it!

We aren't huge into gardening, but we really enjoyed it. It was definitely worth the money. It was DH and I. I think some kids would enjoy it. I would consider taking DS. The two girls on our tour seemed to enjoy it. It's a nice break on a busy park day.

A very interesting tour. Not very long, low priced.

If you do go, don't forget the discounts......AP, DVC, Disney Visa, all 15%

As avid gardeners DW and I found the tour interesting. While the tour is set up for all ages I think that most kids would find it a bit boring. Given the low cost I think it is a good value.

My son (12) and I went on the tour last week and we both loved it. It is fun to be "backstage" and to be a part of the ride. The tour was pretty neat. We got the 10:30 tour and we were out by 12 so plan for the 1.5 hours, it shouldn't go longer than that, the 1.5 seemed to be the most it took. It left me wanting to do more tours.

I loved the tour. It's also fairly short and not expensive, so it won't take away from the rest of your day at Epcot. I would definitely recommend it for you and your husband!

DD and I went on it in October, both of us are gardeners and we really enjoyed our time. They showed us an example of an easy to create hydroponics system and gave us a copy of materials and directions to build it at home inexpensively. While I haven't had time to do so yet, I do plan on building it.

We recommend it. We have done just myself and my wife, we went back and took adult friends (no kids), and now in December, we are doing it gain and taking the kids.

We took the tour this past October - at DD's suggestion. She's 8 and loves all things science & nature. She was the only kid on the tour so she got to help the guide hand things out and do demonstrations. It was a really interesting tour. DD still talks about it, but again, she loves science & nature.

Another poster just shared this link of a tour through The Land. We also did the Behind the Seeds Tour in 2006. It was a gift to our eldest upon his high school graduation (now grown, graduated and a chemist--obviously, he was a science geek back then too) and all four of us loved it!
