For months I have been looking for a book that describes what goes on "behind the scenes at WDW" I even asked the book shop at DTD when I was last there and all they said was that there is one but nobody knew the name of it :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Both myself and DH are facinated by the various tunnels etc but I want to have a more in depth knowledge.

Would love to go on the behind the scenes tour but our DD is only turning 7 so we have a few years to wait yet.

Can anybody give me any ideas.

Thanks

Why not do Behind the Seeds? There is no age limit on that, and it's something to start with. I have a review/68 pics of it here: http://www.mousesteps.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=59&Itemid=67

There is a show from the History Channel on DVD, called Modern Marvels (Walt Disney World) - I really enjoyed that!. A book called Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom. If these aren't exactly what you are looking for, then you can look them up on Amazon and similar books will show up to check out. Lou Mongello has an interesting book (two now, actually), on WDW trivia.

I've got the Imagineering Field Guide to Magic Kingdom, (plus the ones for Epcot and Animal Kingdom) on order from Amazon.

There's an interesting online article on the utilidors here.

I would highly recommend a book entitled "One Day At Disney". It contains absolutely incredible photography and detailed information on what happens in the parks after hours and behind-the-scenes. It takes you through each of the Disney parks showing what goes on during each hour of the day and night. It's a wonderful and eye-opening book.

Hi

Do you know where you can get this book from? I've looked on amazon and it is £49. Nothing on Play.

Thanks

Just to agree with Deb - I have the MK and Epcot ones of these and they are a very interesting read (albeit brief) with lots of nice photos.

I've definitely seen it at both the Animation Gallery at MGM and Once Upon a Toy at Downtown Disney. It's a beautiful book, but it's mainly photos and it isn't cheap.
