We did it in December. We earned the tour free for being passholders & going to Spooktacular a certain number of times this year. I thought it would be way above my 3 1/2 yr old's head but she was fine and actually learned something because she was playing with her toy turtles in the bathtub that night & telling me all about how they were hurt and what was wrong with their shells, something we'd seen & learned about on the tour. We go to Sea World all the time though so to me it was something different to do. I don't know that I'd do it if I didn't live locally and was just doing 1-2 days at Sea World as part of a vacation. I also don't think I'd do it in hot weather since you are out in the sun a lot on this tour. My favorite parts were getting to touch the shark and penguin. There were 2 other kids on the tour in addition to my 3 1/2 year old. One was 6 and the other was probably around 8 or 9. While my 3 1/2 year old & the 6 year old didn't necessarily listen to everything it moved fast enough that they weren't acting up/disturbing others & they did listen to parts of it & enjoyed touching the animals. Our guide was very nice, great with the kids, & happy to take pictures for me while I assisted my daughter touching the shark & penguin & touched them myself.
