We bought this the day before we leave for our last full day here which is New Years day. We have to check out by 10 am at our resort, then driving to Tampa that day to catch our flight home on the 2nd. My girls have wanted to do this forever, so we booked it for their Xmas present while we are here. Tell ya Gina it was a challenge to get here with all the freezing rain and stuff in Ontario. We made it though. Even though our park and fly room was cancelled and without power, and still waiting for a refund from them. Glad we choose Flint instead of Buffalo this time, we wouldn`t have made it to Buffalo, we made it into flint about 20 mins after the storm started, it was nasty. Off to SeaWorld to do what your plans were, Santa`s fireside Feast, and Discovery Cove tomorrow. So far we are just tired, being up at 4 am yesterday for a 7 am flight, and then not in bed until 11, but NO FLU, so fingers crossed. Merry Xmas. I hope you have power.

I thought of you sooooo many times as the storm raged on here. I am just so happy to hear that you made it to Flint safely and actually got out on your scheduled flight......there are many, many folks who were delayed or cancelled before the skies finally cleared. What a stressful start to a vacation .

I was just thinking (rather sadly) this morning that one year ago right now, I was floating lazy around Roa's Rapids (before the tummy bug hit in earnest). I cannot WAIT to hear about Santa's Fireside Feast, and I know you'll have a fab time at DC tomorrow . I spent this morning chipping ice off the end of my driveway so I could get my little car out (I haven't gone anywhere since last Friday afternoon....marooned in our little winter wonderland ) . But we very fortunately have power.......many in neighbouring communities still do not. So there is much to be grateful for!

Wishing you and the family a happy and awesome holiday season in the sunny south. Enjoy every minute!!!! I would love to read a trip report when you come home (hint, hint ). Especially about the SW tour, as that's one of the things I'm considering for August.

Thanks Gina, your well wishes worked. We are here and all tired today. Busy first few days! SW xmas events on the 24th and DC yesterday. Weather was a little on the cool side yesterday, but we stayed right until close. Santa's fireside feast was good. A little rushed as we had the 3 pm ressie and they wanted us in and out because they had another at 5 pm. Got our snow globe picture though so happy. Will let you know about the tour, and just so you know, Orange Lake has been awesome so far, not Sheraton but we love it. Huge resort.

As far as I am aware, the two sessions are different. The tour with your package is the SeaWorld Rescue Tour. This is the Behind the Scenes Tour .
