Enjoyed your Boma pictures--we went there for dinner in August. It was our first time at AKL and we had a great time!!:goodvibes

Yeay for another great visit to AKL -- and yeay for me that I got an AKL and a Boma fix all in one evening! :goodvibes

Glad I could help!

All caught up here Lynn - so sad your report is almost done! :sad2:

I love all the monorail pictures - what a great idea to try and get each color. Very cool!

Funny about the monorail driver and his 10 year anniversary - I met a guy celebrating his 20 year anniversary with WDW and he didn't have too many good things to say either. :confused3

The Poly looks great - we ate at Kona last week and now my daughter wants to stay there. I told her we can go for one night next year at Poly - or five nights at POP.

Great pictures of the Electrical Water Parade - love it!

Your Wishes pictures are great too - another show I have yet to see.

I also love your idea of letting your balloon go to live at WDW eternally - I may have to steal your idea. Sam always gets a balloon but it usually ends up blocking my view in the car on the drive home.

Feel free to steal that idea! It's worked well for us.

I'm still dreaming about the Poly almost every night. Still don't see it happening for this summer, though. I just can't give up 11 days for 5!

Glad you liked it! We are planning to go back for Em's 16th birthday! She wants to stay there Concierge so we can do the sunrise safari. I've already started saving!

Boma looks great! Especially since it's 8:30 and I haven't eaten breakfast yet. I wonder what other surprise you have in store for us?

It looks good to me right now! I love having breakfast for supper!

Our last little adventure is definitely somewhere you won't see coming!

Did you find it in your pictures?

Yup I did! It's not as close up as your picture was but you can still see it!

Can't wait for your next updates. :)

I have to get caught up on the TR. I did read about your breakfast at Boma though. That is always yummy.

Hey! That's cool!

What a lovely way to finish your trip :)

Did Em eat all that food? :faint: :rotfl:

Are you kidding? That was just her first trip!

I have to get caught up on the TR. I did read about your breakfast at Boma though. That is always yummy.

We love BOMA! I hope you get caught up. It's almost over!

Day Eight Part Three

On the road and heading away from Orlando, we spotted this.

DSCF1072.jpg

When I said away from Orlando, it wasn’t toward Daytona. It was toward Tampa. You see, there is a website called Mouse surplus where they sell WDW thing like furniture and such when they remodel the resorts or attractions close.
Here’s the link if you want to check it out.
http://mousesurplus.myshopify.com/
The prices are reasonable, but the shipping is terrible, so they have a warehouse you can visit if you are in the area and picked up the things yourself. We frequently visit the site, so we decided to venture out to the warehouse. Many wrong turns later, we were there. It is in the middle of nowhere and it is just a big, dirty warehouse, but it was full of the coolest stuff! (the air smelled like oranges, too.) I don’t know why I didn’t take more pictures. I guess I was in awe. They had the floor lamp from the Polynesian that I really wanted, but Chuck said it wouldn’t fit in the car.

He did buy me this.

It’s a pillow from the rooms at the Grand Floridian. It is my dream to stay there. Isn’t he the best?

Outside we played around with some cool stuff.

Anyone need a DVC truck?

Would you like some popcorn?

I’ll bet we could fly this home!

We are definitely going back there again and next time we are bringing the truck.

So. that's it! Another trip report is over! But don't be sad! You know the
nts4wdw family always has another trip on the way!!

Thanks for reading, everyone! Your response mean so much to us!

See Ya Real Soon!

That cushion is gorgeous, what a pity the lamp wouldn't fit!

Thanks to all of you for another wonderful TR and I'll be anxiously waiting the next one :goodvibes

Who knew there was a store like that!! That's amazing. I am so going to have to check out their site.

Thanks for the great Trip Report!! I can't wait to read about more of your adventures!! :goodvibes

I think the plane would look great in my backyard! I am sad that your TR is over -- I just love reading about your family's wonderful times at WDW -- but I know you will be back in December, so I am consoling myself with that thought. Are you going to do a PTR for that?

I'm sad too. :sad1: Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with us and your adventures. I'm definately checking out that website. That is so cool!! I never thought about what they did with the "old" stuff at Disney.
Hope to hear about another adventure soon! Take care until then

What a cool place! Never heard of it before but I may have to check it out one of these days. I looked at the website and saw a Mickey head magazine rack that I like!

Thanks for the report - I've enjoyed it! Looking forward to another one from your next trip!

Love that last picture of the family - very sweet! :goodvibes

What a great family picture there at the end!! And the warehouse...we're driving in 2010, I think (I'm a little bit :scared1: because of the length of the trip, but it's soooo much cheaper) and we want to visit the Disney outlets. I'd better not let my DMIL know about this one, though. We could be in over our heads. She's the kind of person that says, "For that price, you can't afford to leave it in the store!!" ;) Who knows what she'd come home with...or, rather, we'd come home with, since they plan on flying!!!

Thanks for sharing - I enjoyed it a lot! :flower3:

What a neat place! Your family picture is great!

I've enjoyed reading your TR! I can't wait to hear about your next trip!

I suck at posting comments here...bad, I know. But I wanted to finally jump in and say how much I LOVE your family's trip reports! I've read a few of the now! I think b/c it reminds me so much of when my family went all the time when my brother and I were your kids ages.

And I LOVE that you stopped by Mousesurplus...we are planning on going there in December. Was it really hard to find? I'm fascinated w/all that stuff and just want to see it! I'm excited now after seeing your pictures!!!

Cant wait to hear about your next trip!

What a perfect end to the trip! I have always wanted to go to Mousesurplus, but I'm afraid to go at the same time. I know I'll want everything. Thanks for sharing the super fun photos.

The pillow is beautiful, and I love that it is connected to your dream.

And now I'm going to happily anticipate the next report!

I never even knew that place existed ... how totally cool is all that stuff? :cool1:

I want the airplane. I don't know how to fly ... I can't afford jet fuel ... and I have no hangar to park it in ... but I want it! :lmao:

Great report Lynn! Thanks for taking the time to post everything and have yourself a great trip in December.

BTW - did your package arrive yet? I insured it so if something bad happened let me know so that I can "go after" the USPS. ;)

That cushion is gorgeous, what a pity the lamp wouldn't fit!

Thanks to all of you for another wonderful TR and I'll be anxiously waiting the next one :goodvibes

I really wanted that lamp! I think if I could have tied it to the roof I would have.

Thanks! I really enjoy yours as well, even if I hardly ever post. Life is a whirlwind these days. I'll let you know when the next trip report starts. It wouldn't be a report without DisneyJo!

Who knew there was a store like that!! That's amazing. I am so going to have to check out their site.

Thanks for the great Trip Report!! I can't wait to read about more of your adventures!! :goodvibes

Beware, Mouse Surplus is addicting!!

Thanks for coming along for the ride! I really like your lighting thread. I love Disney details.

I'm sort of planning to do a pretrip report, but things are a little up in the air right now. I'll let you know if I do. I really look forward to reading yours each day!!

You'll have to hook a Uhaul on the back of your car!!:rotfl: Thanks for reading! Maybe our trips will overlap in 2010.
