Finally I am all caught up! Now I have a question...Lynn you have mentioned in the TR that you had wanted a Indiana Jones Mickey but didn't get one...was that b/c you forgot to get one or that they didn't have any? I am just asking b/c when I was there 2 weeks ago they did have them. So just wondering.

They had them, but I thought I shouldn't buy one while I was there, then regreted it once I got home. Nice to know they are still there! Maybe I can pick one up in December!! If I don't talk myself out of it again.:rotfl:

Day Seven Part One

This was a divided day in the nts4wdw family. Jake and I slept in late and headed off to Disney quest while Chuck and Em jumped on the interstate for a much anticipated trip to SeaWorld! Em is taking over the story from here.

After 30 minutes of waiting, they finally let us in. They only opened the parking lot 30 minutes prior to the park openingHere is where we parked.

We were the first in line at the turnstiles. You put your card under the scanner, give your thumbprint, and there is a screen that tells you how many days you have. Once they let us in, we had to wait again at another rope. They were doing construction on a new ride so we hear all this thumping. After the rope, we went to see the dolphins. We had to wait about ten more minutes there. Here’s some pictures Daddy took while we waited.

We wanted to feed the dolphins. It was expensive. Six dollars for three fish! I got to feed and touch them. You know I used to rail against Disneynomics, but after seeing some of the prices there at SeaWorld, I don’t think I’ll complain quite so much.

After we ran out of fish, we sat there awhile trying to get the dolphins to come over to us.I loved them. They were cute.

Once the trainer stuck her hand in the water, all twelve dolphins went to her. We stared walking over to Kracken. Daddy insisted it was left. I said it was right. So we went left and ended up at the manatees. (remember that for later.) We turned around and we sat in a cove thing while Daddy consulted the map. While we were there, we saw a flamingo parade. :) They weren’t in cages and there was only one trainer for 25 birds. They were just walking and people joined in to walk next to them. I guess some thing happen for a reason. If we hadn’t gone the wrong way, we would have missed it. Thank you, Daddy, for going the wrong way.:thumbsup2 Yep! I’m that good!

We started going the right way. We saw a beautiful waterfall with some flowers. Of course, Daddy had to take my picture with it. He always does.:sad2:

We passed Journey to Atlantis on the way to Kracken. It was down so we saw some of the insides of it. It looked cool. I would ride it if we didn’t have to get wet. One day we are going back to ride that.:goodvibes You’re on your own on that one kid!

Finally we got to the Kracken.:scared1: They should rename it the regurgitator!! Daddy and I rode it twice then he felt:faint: and I rode it three more times by myself. I got in the same seat every single time. You can choose which row you sit in.

Daddy was brave and took this video with Mom’s camera.
I wanted documentation in case I didn’t return.

It was awesome. I could ride it again and again and again.
I felt like this. :upsidedow

Stay Tuned for next time: Sharks:scared1: , lunchpopcorn:: and a terrific view!!

I would like to thank you Chuck. For making me sure that I will never ever ever ever ride Kraken. Nope. I don't care if my future child cry, pout, stomp, beg. Not going to do it. :lmao:

Great update guys! I am definitely jealous that you got to pet the dolphins. When we went they wouldn't really come close enough for us to pet them (unless we wanted to be swimming with them, haha!). That must've been really cool to see the flamingoes. And I can't believe you went on the Kraken so many times! I was terrified to even try it but it wasn't so bad actually. Can't wait for more!

:scared1:
HOW did you hold on to that camera the whole time???? You're a brave, brave man.

And Em, you're very diplomatic about your dad and the map reading. ;) Great job - looking forward to more!

Great video guys! That's the only way I would ride that ride. Watching iti on tv. I barely can do RRC. What a nice daddy/daughter date. And don't you just love going places and comparing prices to Disney? We stopped at a travel center this weekend and ate lunch at McDonalds for the price it would cost at Disney. We have an amusement park in Ohio called Cedar Point and water and pop there costs more than at Disney. It's crazy!! We spent $500 there last year on tickets and food for ONE day and we only got to ride about 6 rides!
Anyway, back on topic, I'm looking forward to hearing about the shark encounter.

Awesome video of Kraken! Thanks for braving that for us Chuck - and doing a video while riding. :thumbsup2 My daughter and I can't wait to ride that togethe someday!

Great job Em!

Awesome Kraken video! Although, I'm still shaking and that was just from watching the video...I can only imagine what the ride is like!!!! :)

Em, the dolphins are so cute! The one looks like he (or is it she?) is smiling at you! ;)

Oh, Em, what a super update!!!

The dolphins are just too cute -- I love how they smile!!!

The flamingos walking in a line is the best animal interaction EVER!

You are way braver than I could ever be riding the Kracken five times!!! I was watching the video from behind my hands....:rotfl:

Wow, Em! Loved the video, Chuck, and also your various sound effects during the ride. Flamingo parade very cool.
Em - what seat did you like for Kracken?

That's a ride I will never go on, I feel sure. If I feel the need to experience something similar, I will just jump into my dryer and rev it up to high speed! I would have done it over and over when I was a kid, I know, but not any more. I'm glad Em enjoyed it. It's great to be young and adventurous...and still enjoy being shaken around like a baby rattle.

That's great that you had some daddy-daughter time. Just seeing her write 'Here's some pictures Daddy took...' was so sweet. That has to be one of your favorite words in the world - Daddy. I know Mom and MeMom are my favorites.

The flamingo parade was great. I'm glad you took the wrong path and found that.

I look forward to seeing lunch and sharks later.

We wanted to feed the dolphins. It was expensive. Six dollars for three fish! I got to feed and touch them.
How fantastic, expensive fish but great to stroke the dolphins :goodvibes

What a brave girl, I love the last photo too!

Great report Em :goodvibes

Great update Em...that is so cool that you were able to feed the Dolphins and touch them also.

Chuck great video of Kraken! It seemed like just as it looked like it was over there was another loop.

Can't wait to read more!

See, that's what DADDIES are for! It's fun. Really. No matter what it looks like. :upsidedow

Yes, I went on that many times. And I wanted to go more, but I wanted to see the penguins.:upsidedow Sorry you didn't get to pet the dolphins. Another reason to go back, right?

:scared1:

Thank you. I try my best.:upsidedow

The sharks are cool! I would tell you I got to see them swimming over my head, but that would give away too much!!:upsidedow

Great job Em!

Thank you! trust me, once you ride it, you'll just want to ride it more. Or hurl your guts out. Whatever works for you.:upsidedow

Em, the dolphins are so cute! The one looks like he (or is it she?) is smiling at you! ;)

The ride is more awesomer than the video. I thought the dolphins were cuter, too.:upsidedow

So was I!!! I really liked the dolphins and flamingos and the Kracken was awesome! I don't know why Daddy wanted to stop.:upsidedow

Amazing photos!!

Thank you!:upsidedow

The ride wasn't scary (unless you count the fear of tossing your cookies)....however, when Lynn found out that I was using HER camera while on the ride......Now that was scary:scared1:

When you asked to borrow my camera, my new camera, I had no idea of your purposes. You are sneaky!!!

Wow, Em! Loved the video, Chuck, and also your various sound effects during the ride. Flamingo parade very cool.
Em - what seat did you like for Kracken?

It was the second seat from the back. There are four seats in a row and I sat on the end.:upsidedow

I'd jump in the dryer! That sounds fun! I've got to keep my eye on her!
Daddy is one of my favorite words, along with chocolate, lunch, racecars, Meme, Mama and Periwinkle:upsidedow

Cool update!! What a video--I can't believe you rode 5 times in a row Emily!!

The awesomest thing ever. I want it for the backyard. :upsidedow

Oh, my goodness! I’ve never came so close to a public display of the contents of my stomach in my life! (which gives me the hypothetical situation – if one encounters a protein spill (ie, blows chunks) while upside down on the top of a loop, what would be the probability of being splattered by said chunkage if the coaster goes back through the bottom of the loop? All you physics type peoples dig out your spreadsheets and calculators…inquiring minds want to know!
The first trip on the coaster was fine, however, about halfway through the second time, I realized I had a made a very poor decision! The funny thing was when we touched ground again I was halfway through telling E that could go back on the coaster without me when I realized that she was gone – nothing but elbows and heels, heading towards the coaster.
