Beginner's Luck?

I just got off the phone with MS, booked two nights studio at BCV toward the end of September (just barely within the 7 month window). This was my first time booking (we just bought at SSR in December), and -- after looking at these boards -- I called ready with 1st and 2nd choices on dates and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices on resorts. After being on hold for 10-15 minutes, I got my first choice all around! Did I pick a particularly dead time to book, or did I just have beginnger's luck? Either way, it's feelin' pretty good!

Glad you got your wish! September is one of the easiest times to book DVC, so I think that had something to do with it. Enjoy!

If you are at the very beginning of F&W, you were lucky! If you're before F&W, then I think that's just a slower time, so good for you, you got what you wanted!

Congratulations on your first DVC ressie! I made my first ressie at the BVC in March of last year for Sept. '06 and don't recall having any problems. I did, however, run into problems when I tried to book that resort for October.

It all depends on the time of year and the resort.

We've been able to get a BCV studio for the last three years in late January. These are just slow times so there is more availability.
