Since this is the families board, I figured I might have the best chance of finding the needle in the haystack here . . .

I'm trying to book the pirate cruise for my daughter and a friend on Thursday, October 5. It is, of course, full.

If anyone has spots, and decides to cancel for some reason, could you please let me know? I'm going to keep calling regardless, but just thought I'd throw it out into the great wide cyber-world in the event that a mystery person exists that could help!

Thanks in advance -

Are you referring to the Grand Floridian pirate cruise?

There is a new one at the Caribbean Beach Resort that you may be able to get them on. Try calling the recreation number (407-WDW-PLAY) and see if they have availability. Not sure everyone has heard of this one yet.

Good luck!

Nancy

thanks -
prplcrzy - I have heard of the new one at CBR, but I can only fit this in on a Thursday, and the CBR cruise is on Tuesday, so it (sadly) won't work. I'd even do the Albatross cruise, but have the same problem with the dates.
WDW-Play did try to sell me on a "Sassagoula River Cruise" from POR, which I had never heard of, go along the river collecting clues in order to become a true "Jester" and bring happiness to all you meet. Unfortunately, my little girl is deadset on being a pirate. Arrrgh. pirate:

sixAMmom - thanks for the pixie dust (and does your name refer to a young alarm clock that walks, talks, breathes and cries? Mine is set for 5:30. Joy.)

I don't have any advice for you but wanted to offer :cheer2: & pixiedust: that you can get the kids into the cruise. I would call often to see if anyone cancels.

Most of our trips are planned with so little warning that every time i've called for the pirate cruise, it's been booked so my kids have yet to do it.
