Before I post on rent/transfer question

Not trying to get kicked off, or not follow any rules. Just looking for guidance. We booked a DVC via 3rd party. We can’t cancel it and 3rd party wants hefty premium to find another person to take reservation. Am I permitted to post it as Reservation for Rent, with appropriate disclosures? I’m not a DVC owner. Kindly advise and delete this post if necessary. Thanks.

Read the Rent/Trade Board rules. I'm pretty sure that you cannot rent out a reservation if you are not an owner.

Yep, I read the rules. Not clear other on one point which is my reservation is beyond 30 days.

No, I'm sorry. Only the owner of the points can post on the DIS Rent/Transfer Board. The DIS does not accept 3rd party rentals.

Also, you cannot change the names on the reservation. Only the points owner can. So you'll find that listing anywhere is problematic.
