Before Christmas crowds

Can someone please tell me what the park is like the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas, especially the week before Christmas? We are looking at going to visit family & friends Dec. 13-27, although we would not go into the parks after the 24.

We went to DL a few years ago between Christmas and New Years and I dont want to ever go again during that time. I grew up in So. Cal. and went to DL more times in my youth than I can count and we were shocked at the crowds tduring that time of year!

If you can get to the parks during the week, you shouldn't encounter crowds at all. You won't have the entertainment or extended hours, but you won't have the crowds either. Weekends at Disneyland are very busy because of the holiday Small World and Haunted Mansion. They also do a special version of The Believe fireworks display. These special events bring alot of locals into the parks. I would try to avoid DL any weekend between Thanksgiving and New Year's. The week of Xmas is busy, but not as busy as the week between Xmas and NewYears...Good luck
