And here is the last landscape project for this year (well at least thats what I keep telling DH)
The grass just wouldn't grow under the stairs so I pulled it up and planted shade loving plants. You can't really see in the photo (cheapo digital camera) but I planted some hosta, a bleeding heart, astilbe and some annuals.

I sure like the after better. Great job. :)

That looks so nice, those plants are going to love it there!

You've accomplished a lot, and I appreciate you sharing it with us! :D

I'm looking and looking and thinking to myself, "I really can't see anything. I guess she really does have a cheapo digital camera". Then I moved the window up and saw the second pix. DUH!!!!! Tulirose smacks forehead!

What a difference! So very nice! Thanks for sharing with us this project.

Very nice..
You are giving me some great ideas..:D

Awesome! It is amazing how little gardens tucked here and there - change the entire area's appearance. This looks great and is certainly a nice improvement.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I love that red bark...that's what I put in and it just spruces things up and I think looks so nice...Great job!!!!!!

That is a very clever idea. It looks very manicured. I can't wait to see how it all fills out next year!
