Beer?

We are staying at RPH this Dec. for 9 nights. Does the store in the resort or anywhere at Citywalk sell reasonably priced beer? Can you bring your own down to the pool? We are staying club level, can you bring your beer from there? How many will they let you grab at one time? No I'm not an alchoholic, just figuring there will be a couple of nice nights to sit outside and enjoy a couple of drinks.

Last Dec. I was able to buy 6-packs at CSR for $15 (reasonable for a resort) and drink them by the quiet pool at night. Just wondering if I can do the same or would be forced to buy the overpriced drinks at the pool bar?

You can bring several cans to your room at one time from Club but I don't think you can bring them to the pool. Someone will let you know for sure.

You are not allowed to bring them to the pool, you can try but the servers etc round the pool will probably tell you to take them from the pool area, same with the soft drinks, although DD poured them into her Universal cup.
apparently all drinks in the Club level are supposed to be drunk there

I guess if there are servers that make a living on tips by the pool they would frown on bringing in drinks. There were no servers at the quiet pool at CSR and you could buy single cans of beer at the store to walk around the resort with. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and buy a couple of lounge drinks if the need arises. Do they make you open the beer at club level or can you take some closed ones back to the room?

They frown on outside food and drinks. If you want your own food and drinks you need to do it in your room or in the club lounge if staying club. I also don't think they make you open the items before leaving the lounge.

drinks are half price at certain hours at the bula bar which serves the pool guests.


when i was at club last month, my bourban and whisky drinks could not be taken out of the lounge.

I stayed club level at RPH in June, they opened my beer for me when they gave them to me. : (

So, its not like Disney or other hotels where you just pour your beverage into a travel mug and head to the pool?


Last time we went to Disney, we had beer/wine delivered to the resort from

If you're looking for a place to relax and drink your own beer outside, there are reclining chairs on the lagoon beach that you could probably use.

Back from 9 day stay at RPH. They do open your beer at Club Level, you can leave the lounge with it, they said I could take it to the pool if they poured it in a plastic cup.
